Me ye nahi bol raha ki saari trains achi hai but pehele se kaafi improvement kiya hai , ek baat aur ki agar koi train bihar se hote hue jaati hai to thoda chori ka scene rehta hai aur uss train ki gentry bhi nahi hoti na hi jada saaf safai hoti hai , basically jo train bihar se jaati hai use ignore kiya jata hai . Aur hate dene se kuch nai hoga hame khud saaf safai maintain krni chahiye. No hate to bihar ❤

मैंने पुरानी दिल्ली से जाखल हरियाणा के लिए ट्रेन बुक की। पहले तो ट्रेन 4 घंटे लेट आई और जब मैं ट्रेन में चढ़ा तो जो सीट मेरी बुक थी वहां पर दो लोग और सोए हुए मिले। जी हाल है इंडिया में ट्रेनों का बहुत बुरा हाल है

When u r travelling daily with these kind of conditions and living substandard life , it’s normal for them. They will hardly ever complain and govt will barely listen.
People who are earning sufficient will travel mostly by premium trains which are consistently improving (though May take years to reach global standard in all terms). And rest who can afford will travel by planes .
So the conditions with corruption from top to bottom, condition like these may not change even though all hope to be.
There are hardly any maintenance and deep cleaning due to various reasons but people has less or no knowledge of civic sense (not their fault completely, due to no such education, livelihood , income etc.) leading to such conditions .
We can only Hope to see changes in 10 years.

I used to travel on this train when I was young, that too in sleeper class. Just imagine if this is the situation in 2nd AC; then, what would the sleeper class be like? I remember my grandfather telling me it's not the Manananda Express; it's the Mahaganda Express.

Thanks for showing the reality of Indian railways, food quality in the train as well as from the online vendors. Except rajdhani, vande Bharat and shatabdi trains.. all other trains have mostly such conditions even in AC coaches. I hope Indian railways take notice of this.

Sikkim Mahananda is the slowest train. The whole journey usually lasts 38-40 hours if you add the delay time. This train stops anywhere giving pass to Rajdhani. I once took this train to new jalpaiguri junction and our 32 hour journey ended up like a 40-42 hour stretch. Avoid These two trains Brahmputra Mail and Mahananda. North East Express from Anand Vihar is way faster 😅😑

I frequently travel on this route, and this is the shittiest route to travel. On top of that you travelled in Mahananda Express, we have a saying "Mahananda (express) sbse ganda". I would say Bikaner Guwhati express is a better option to travel on this route, even though mahananda directly drops us to Hashimara, we still avoid this train.
