Just hope that after Grand Prix is demolished the area doesn't sit empty for 5+years as seems to be the norm at PB. The whole place feels like Drayton Manor did before it was sold in 2020 - removal after removal after removal with no chance of anything new. It took new owners to turn DM around, perhaps that's what needed here.
I’m not excited. Pleasure Beach have form for removing rides and not fulfilling their place. Because they have set that precedent, it doesn’t look promising. So many areas from old rides are just empty! It’ll be another garden knowing Amanda.
hope it something new and fresh for pb it will be good to see something modern but with a hint of bp retro in it. that will be a good sort of ride to see as its replacement. and still missing the river cavers ride tho hope its gets fixed soon and to see some sort of an update.
BPB didn't waste any time, sad to see the ride go, but looking forward to your future updates on Grand Prix if you decide to do them. Wonder what they have done with the cars, new ride parts for the shop maybe in the future, still wish they had kept the ride open for this season though then closed it
Hopefully many updates to come! Would be nice to see wheels, track pieces, the station fans and cars in the shop 👀. It will be missed. Shame the event was the only way to have a last ride but it was certainly done better than the last ride removal.
It’s not cable it’s pick up rail for the brushes, as it’s made of copper they will be separating it as it’s worth a lot more as scrap without other metals.
They have taking all the good old rides away. charging a lot of money just to go in and walk around. maybe go to a cafe there. Good way to loose a lot of customers and families with children. Not everyone wants to just go on those big things like the big one.
Agreed. Having no option to pay a smaller sum to just walk around is turning away money that can be made from that entry fee as well as food, drink and merchandise they could buy

I wouldn't speculate too much about what's to come. Development was promised after Wild Mouse was removed and we got the Hub.

They’re copper thieves, not workers, lol
Oh wow. They didn't do any waiting. Why even remove that. Omg this is so interesting. Can't wait for your next update.
Hopefully start of something promising, new and thrilling.
I really hope so

Don't get too excited them orange bits are expensive copper conducters. Also used on Alice ghost rain stobard... Etc
Interesting. Thankyou for letting me know :)
a spring loaded contact presses on the copper inside the orange plastic protection cover to receive power to move the car.

Interesting. Thankyou for letting me know. So they’ll get a bit of money from them right?
@@theme_parkmad yeah, at present it’s worth about £600 a tonnes as is
@@Beefy2203 wow! Thankyou for letting me know that mate no wonder they’re quick to get rid 😂
I never got to ride this. Hopefully if they replace it with something I can ride that
Hopefully build something new there maybe another coaster
Fingers crossed 🤞 something thrilling would be great
Copper rod not cable
The whole of black pool wants leveling and rebuilding
Another piece of history lost, so sad. Not everything new is better.😢
Another classic gone 😔
They didn’t waste my time 😅
Absolutely not. Hope it continues

BPB need to bet their act together and spend some money on the place .
