Hi Firoz.. for a good quality video you need a prime lens that has an aperture of f1.8. 35mm f1.8 may suit your requirement. I notice that your light source is a bit harsh for a good lighting you can try bouncing the lights on the ceiling which will create a soft look. You can also watch my video on white balance settings to get the right colours in your footage. Feel free to ask if you have any questions.
Nikon me external mic D5xxx and above series me aata hai which is more than 30k. Koi bhi camera lene se pehle check kar lena ki usme external mic support hai ya nahi.. Agar aapko utna soend nahi karna hai toh buy any camera and buy a voice recorder like zoom which comes around 7500 rupees. And sync it during editing.

I've got a D5300, but it doesn't seem to respond to the external mic. With default camera mic it's working fine but the moment I connect external mic it doesn't record any audio just a hush audio. Have checked the microphone settings as well. Could you please help.. Thanks in anticipation.. 🙂🙂
Hi Sagar.. there are four things to check. 1. Insert the microphone pin fully into the jack. 2.check if the microphone battery is interested in the correct position (positive side towards the + sign) 3. Check if the microphone switch is slided towards camera and not towards mobile. 4. Check if your mic is working on your mobile phone. While testing the mic keep it way from your dslr or phone to ensure the sound is recorded from the mic and not the internal mic of the devices.
@@IrfanMukadam. Mic (Rode) work. Bar moves when I speak. It is connected to my D5600, but after I record the video there is no output sound. I called Nikon and they can't tell me what to do..
@@victoriah584 what happens when you record it with the internal mic.. can you hear the audio? If yes.. your dslr is fine. If not.. check the volume while playing the clip in your dslr. If the volume is high and still don't hear it.. try playing the clip in your laptop. If the bars are moving when rode is connected the audio is being recorded for sure. If you have tried playing the clip in your laptop and still can't hear it.. try to play in a different media player. Some media player don't fully support .MOV file format.
If you go for a first party lens it would be a bit costly if you want you can try third party lens like tamaron or some other brand they also produce good quality glass and lenses nowadays
Yes you can use normal earphones also provided you buy a splitter (audio/mic) and connect the earphones in splitter and the splitter in the dslr. If you directly connect the the regular earphones in the DSLR it will not get connected. Splitter is available in the market for a dollar or two.

@@IrfanMukadam. no because the wind and some settings are different in D5200 is just mic manual automatic and when I connect it with Boya the wind its still there
D5200 doesn't have the wind noise reduction. It would be of no use as you are using an external boya mic. The wind noise reduction works only with the inbuilt microphone and it gets greyed out the moment you insert the external mic in the dslr. To avoid wind noise I would recommend to set the sensitivity at 8 with any fan or ac blower at minimum speed. I watched few of your videos to understand your requirement. Looks like you are more into creating sensitive sounds. You can go for a condenser microphone. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. My channel has a lot of nikon tutorials. I use boya by m1 with my Nikon D5300. If you are new and starting your channel go for it. Once your channel grows get a wireless mic because sometimes the long cable that comes with boya by m1 mic gets messed up. Please subscribe i have a lot of D5300 tutorials that may help you. No. The videos uploaded online for D3500 with adaptor are fake. I have seen a guy how gave a connection to the external mic by opening the dslr and connecting the external mic with the inbuilt microphone. It might work but I would not recommend it as there is a risk.

HI Melba.. not sure about the older models but Nikon has discontinued external mic support on d3400 and d3500 as well. In d3200 if it has a mic jack then there shouldn't be any problem.. btw are you using the same boya mic or some other brand.. i would recommend testing your mic in a smart phone since there can be a problem with the mic you are using..
I am not using Boya it's some other brand. It is working perfectly with my smartphone, I think its battery is dead . Cant get another in lockdown so I'll let you know whether my d3200 is faulty or the mic. Thanks for your support.

If you are going to make only fishing videos I would recommend you to shoot it with a camcorder rather shooting on a DSLR.
