    You might find it stupid and funny.. but in every "how to make a video" clip youtubers have told about the setting, how to set your ISO, microphone etc. But this was the only video in which I found how to RECORD. 😂... Thankx alot for that.. everything seemed useless to me before I watched your tutorial.. great job👍👍

    Hi! I wanted to record a video of a beautiful bird that was in my backyard this morning. I checked youtube to learn how to do it. I watched your video because it said it was going to teach me how to record a video with my D5300. Well, by following your instructions, I lost all the photos that I had in my sd card plus the bird I was willing to cam was gone while I was configuring the camera. I learned afterwards that I could have accomplished my goal by simply pressing two buttons. I could have recorded the bird without losing all my photos. What you do is a crime, you know that?

      +Joe Zach If you shoot 30p, just set shutter speed to 1/60, adjust your aperture maybe to F2.8-F4, and ISO is up to whatever you need. You do need to manual focus this though.

  • @IbrahimBanoon
    @IbrahimBanoon 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks a lot bro!
    I have questions what's different about ( PAL and NTSC ) and who's better ?

    • @that1cameraguy
      @that1cameraguy  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It has to do with the frequency that power is outputted in different countries. Not one or another is better, it's what makes sense for your region that you live in. For example, if you use NTSC in Europe (where they use PAL), if you record in a room with lights, you might get flickering.

    • @IbrahimBanoon
      @IbrahimBanoon 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      ohh i see , thx bro .. i'm still noob with the camera and i don't know
      what's best setting to record piano vid without flickering , did i use 24 fbs ?

    • @that1cameraguy
      @that1cameraguy  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      What country are you in?

    • @IbrahimBanoon
      @IbrahimBanoon 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      saudi arabia

    • @that1cameraguy
      @that1cameraguy  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think you're in the PAL region, so use 25fps and make sure your shutter speed is 1/50 to avoid flicker in the video.

      D5200 has a flip out screen. It can be an advantage.

    I am about to ask a dumb ? but on the microphone settings, I don't have a microphone 'yet' but I know that when I'm playing around with my liveview & I'm recording something, I can hear myself talk & I can hear my husband, do we need the microphone ? just asking because if I can hear myself, why ? Hope it's not too dumb of a ? Thanks your video is awesome, best I've seen yet.

      Look at Rode Microphone, they have a few in different price range. Also check out Takstar on Amazon.
