The fact that he is “not nervous” is very telling of someone that doesn’t feel normal emotions. So many narcissistic qualities showing through, it’s sick. Psychopaths generally don’t feel anxiety so this makes sense!
It's also the demeanor of a guilty person. An innocent person who was wrongly arrested and thrown in a cell would act outraged. Not calm and polite. Would you be happy and relaxed if you were thrown in jail for a crime you didn't do?

I hope Jack D is ok. So many people on the internet thought it was him. Must of been so heartbreaking to lose his girlfriend also knowing that she called him many times just before she was attacked. On top of that people thinking you were responsible and also that you may be falsely accused by the police, convicted and go to jail for the rest of your life.
The police appear to have connected their suspect with DNA and are hopeful of a conclusive conviction. If this is the case, the police investigators deserve huge credit. To often in big cases like this the police are pressured into a rushed arrest and wrong conviction.👏
I know, I really feel for the people the victims knew. They were the ones that were needlessly harassed in a time of grief and trauma, and now people only wanna say “innocent until proven guilty” about the guy named in the probable cause affidavit 💔

Not necessarily. He's an intelligent guy, after they lay out their key case and he talks to his parents and lawyer, he might be able to negotiate his way out of death penalty, by maybe providing a full confession /plead guilty. Maybe prosecutors are willing to negotiate it down to life if the parents prefer & /or in exchange for additional info.
Let’s hope the verdict will not end like the disgraceful verdict of that Parkland FLA. Shooter monster (no death penalty verdict).
Even though I have never seen him look overtly emotional, Kaylee's father looks 10 years older every time I see him... It's possible to find peace, love and joy even after tragedy, and I pray these families do.

Mr. Goncalves has come a long way in realizing the wisdom of keeping investigative information out of the public until it's officially released. If his lawyer has done nothing more than help him navigate how to respond meaningfully while protecting the case, he has earned his keep. Protecting the case is the best way this dad can still protect his daughter. He can protect her justice. He did a wonderful job, here.
i remember in the book about Richard Ramirez, "Nightstalker, the Life and Crimes of Richard Ramirez", it mentioned that Dianne Feinstein (then San Fran mayor, now Senator) went on TV and talked about shoe prints connecting the crimes, so Ramirez went and tossed them off the golden gate bridge.

I really hope they have the right suspect in custody. There was a lot of pressure on law enforcement to find the killer, and so I hope there were no oversights. Bryan is innocent until proven guilty. He should get life behind bars if he is eventually found guilty of killing 4 innocent students. My heart goes of to the victims' families. I can't imagine their pain at losing a loved one in this heinous manner. The victims deserve justice, and I really hope the right suspect is in custody.

The evidence is sealed until he arrives in Idaho. In order for them to get a search and arrest warrant they would need some hard evidence to get a judge to sign off.

It sounds like people are being influenced by the news more than actually recalling his behavior or appearance. Something is not right.

I think After the killing his classmates told he had been talkative etc, but when they discussed about Idaho Case he become quiet AND not joining the discussion about it
I hope if I will be accused of a crime in the future and people I know don’t know if I‘m innocent or guilty that they all won’t come out of the woodwork and speak to the media telling every little thing I‘ve done wrong in the past. not saying that he is innocent, I think there is a high possibility that he is the person but there are cases where someone was accused and it turned out he is innocent. how must it feel when you see all the people you knew talking about you to the media and already telling every little detail before a conviction.

Her Dad is a strong guy. If this had happened to one of my kids i could not do what he is able to do. I lost my wife is a wrongful death and they had to lock me up.

How does one guy stab 4 people to death in a house full of 6 people. Two of the victims shared a room. Did he drug them first? One victim had defensive wounds but no one was woken up. Unbelievable

They were fast asleep and most like were drinking earlier that night. And depending where he first stabbed, they may have not been able to scream (like slashing throat or stabbing lungs)
They were all drunk and asleep, and he's a psycho with a knife standing over them. Not hard to imagine at all, unfortunately.
Ask Bundy. He killed more than 4 at a time. My guess would be the victims were asleep and may have had alcohol before being slaughtered.
We just had a similar case in Japan early in the morning of Christmas. 3 family members - American dad, Japanese mom and their daughter got hacked to death by some recluse neighbor. Motive still unkown. What's going on in the world...

Humans have a significant ability of memory to be invoked involuntarily when it had been previously blocked. Such as when someone tells you the quiet guy in the back of the class is a stone cold murderer.
