This kind of argument is as absurd as claiming "the sky is falling". Ghana's top exports to the USA are mainly raw materials, with crude oil being the most prominent. Saying that you will reject Ghana's goods is like saying you don't need them for your own economic prosperity. American ambassador needs to use constructive and respectful arguments and dialogues instead of threats.

Those who are taking a soft stance against LGBT in Ghana are refusing to understand that it's something we can not reverse once we allow in the country. We keep pushing for the minority will over that of the majority. Democracy is defined as the rule of the majority, so why are those people trying to bend the will of the majority? I can't think far. We've taken these aids since time immemorial, and still we are where we are. And now they're bringing us LGBT to worsen our plight. Please, Ghana is not ready. And if Mike and his like-minded friends think that because of the size of our economy, we should sit down for the bigger economies to throw trash on us, then I'm sorry for him.. IN ADDITION, the NGO clinics that supported HIV-infected persons have left the country for fear of being raided by police. So where are we now? We just shot ourselves in the foot.
