You got it! We take a longer shower in the morning, after the gym or swimming, and before bed-usually about 10 minutes. The other times, about 98% of the time, we just have a quick shower (1-3 minutes) to freshen up or wash off sweat. We use just soap, and if you have short hair, you'll wet it every time.
When it comes to paying in installments with credit cards, the standard is usually up to 3 installments without interest. Nowadays, due to high costs, some stores offer plans of 6 or even 12 installments without interest. This is convenient because it allows you to buy multiple items at once without waiting to save up. When you choose installments, the store gets the full payment upfront, and the bank or credit card company (like Visa or Mastercard) manages the installments. For example, if I want an Xbox costing $2400 but can't pay all at once, I could opt to pay $200 per month over 12 months (usually without interest), which fits my monthly budget.
We start learning to brush our teeth in kindergarten. Parents usually send us with a small kit containing toothpaste and a toothbrush so that caretakers can teach us to brush-even if you have only one tooth-after lunch and snack time. Dental care is affordable here, so most people go for check-ups and cleanings every 6 months or once a year. Braces are common, regardless of age, because they're expensive, and some people can only afford them later in life, like in their 30s.

I don't know what the whole pork thing was about, but me, my dad, my brother don't eat pork either, and I can say we never had such a discussion or any problems whatsoever, is really not a thing. If someone was giving me a hard time about it, I would probably just tell them to F@# off. The guy was probably just a regular jerk who likes pork too much for some reason.
On the jokes about his islamic friend, people here really can be very ignorant of certain things by my experience. People won't pretend you are not from a different culture or country, or if you are fat or bald, they will point that out immediately and throw every stereotype right on your face, even if they never met you before. But is not like is a targeted thing, in this situations everybody is gonna be made fun for the most obvious thing about their appearance. I guess you have to set the boundaries all the time with people you just met, if they cross some kind of personal line, you have to make sure they know it right away or they will continue doing it.
