Hello dear fellow traveler, I would like you all to know that the Brazilian people are very hospitable and friendly, and our country is not just about football and carnival, given that Brazil has continental dimensions and the local culture of certain regions is not always the same as that of others. Thank you for visiting the south of Brazil
I’ve been to Australia once and it was precisely in Brisbane, where I felt very welcomed. I loved the city. Actually I was prospecting somewhere to move to with my family. The fact is that I literally had to hold my tears for seeing what Australia accomplished being a younger country than Brazil. But seeing how the Australian government treated people during the pandemics made me grateful for not having moved there. Have a nice and safe trip!
Hey man! Welcome to Brazil. I'm from São Mateus do Sul, Paraná-a state you'll be traveling through. To drink chimarrão, you'll need a better bomba (straw). Chimarrão is made from fresh leaves, making it sweeter and more enjoyable for first-time drinkers. However, it's important to use a cloth filter so the bomba doesn’t get clogged with small leaf particles. The main difference between mate and chimarrão is the state of the leaves: in mate, the leaves are dried, while in chimarrão, the leaves are fresher.
The little chips on the hot dog are called papas pay in Uruguay/Argentina, not quite sure how they'd call them in Brazil. They are like regular potato chips but in shreds, so when they stay out for about an hour they become soft and stale. Delicious all the same lol. Safe travels! (Try covering the hole of the bombilla with your thumb when putting it in the mate, that prevents some herb dust from entering)
I'm arriving on the channel now and apparently, I'm here to stay I hope you enjoy the best that our country has to offer It's great to have you here, Ryan
Thats so cool mate! Brazilian in your land here! Hahahaha, love the vibe, and the crazy idea you had. Petty sure you will feel what's Brazil is about a bit but not the full picture till you ride all the way to North East! 😊😂 Wish you all safe travels and our people are amazing! Love watching "gringos" opinions about our country.
What a surprise when I decided to watch this video that appeared in my feed. I wanted to watch until the end because, from the route in your intro, it looked like you would be passing by my city, Rio Grande, and Cassino Beach. I was born and raised in Rio Grande but have lived in Canada for a few years now. The people there are simple but very warm and welcoming. I hope you had a great stay and enjoyed your chimarrão. It might have been a little too cold to dip your toes in the South Atlantic waters, but you'll have many opportunities as you head further north. I assume you're no longer in Rio Grande; otherwise, I'd have put you in contact with my family there. I’ll keep an eye out for the tuk-tuk on my streets in Canada, with a chimarrão ready. Abraço!
At 22:30 that is called a Quindim, probably my favorite dessert and it is made out of eggs and coconut, that one also has chocolate around but without it is probably better!
I'm loving your videos so far and I'm so excited to see you discover my country! I'm hoping you have the best time and only meet good people! If you decide to explore the western region of the Paraná state, let me know! We have the triple frontier here, between Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay, with a lot of culture and beautiful landscapes and nature, so as the Iguazu Falls. Lots of love and admiration for you and your journey! 🥰😘
22:25 I could be wrong, but it looks like a "pão de mel", literal translation would be honey bun, but it's different from the honey bun you would see around the english speaking world.

Esse video me fez lembrar do Shurastey e fiquei triste :(
Tenha uma excelente viagem e que termine tudo bem, best whshes.
(Try covering the hole of the bombilla with your thumb when putting it in the mate, that prevents some herb dust from entering)
we call it "batata palha"
@@hiddenspeak "Straw potato", loving it 🙂
Saudades ENORMES Do Brasil! Amo a nossa hospitalidade e calor humano!
OMG! What beautiful people
São mesmo. Incrível
Seja bem-vindo ao Brasil. É maravilhoso ver a excelente recepção que as pessoas mais simples recebem os estrangeiros ❤️
I'm arriving on the channel now and apparently, I'm here to stay
I hope you enjoy the best that our country has to offer
It's great to have you here, Ryan
Sejam bem vindos ao Brasil . Os tuktuk no Brasil estão aumentando cada vez . Está sendo muito Útil
Stay sober and stay safe my guy. I love you two and hope for the best.
Welcome to Brazil. Welcome to Rio Grande do Sul. Have a good trip man.😊
Thats so cool mate!
Abraço!
You’re doing GREAT!! Buenísimo!! 🇦🇷
At 22:30 that is called a Quindim, probably my favorite dessert and it is made out of eggs and coconut, that one also has chocolate around but without it is probably better!
só uma curiosidade, o quindim tem origem portuguesa, mas esse coberto com chocolate nunca tinha visto
@@Cies-rp4xw também nunca vi, mas deve ser maravilhoso
the boooosa novaa hits amazing
yeep, try these! bossa nova*
Hey, great video mate, make sure to spend a good while in Santa Catarina, it's the best State of Brazil 💚💛💙
Excelentes videos 👏👏👏 Saludos de Uruguay 🇺🇾
22:25 I could be wrong, but it looks like a "pão de mel", literal translation would be honey bun, but it's different from the honey bun you would see around the english speaking world.
Meu amigo seja bem vindo ao Brasil. Só um aviso tome muito cuidado com esse tuc tuc nas rodovias. Os caminhões não vão te respeitar. Muita atenção. Boa viagem.
Just a little tip, we use a different kind of straw to drink chimarrão, it has a different tip so it can filter out the little pieces
As I told you in IG, I was looking forward to watching your first video from RS Brazil, where I’ve lived for 7 years. Thanks for your great job. What a day! What a day!
