Thanks for sharing!
Hi and thank you for the interesting experiment you provided us. I would like to ask about the ions that cross the separator (membrane) of a Zn_Br2 battery, which ions are those?? Please be as detailed as possible as I am really confused by the literature.. I really appreciate any help you can provide.
The salt bridge is there to allow the passage of both, Positive and Negative Ions regardless of their make up. Basically the same principle as the nearly 200 year old Daniell Cell
Apakah dapat charger? terlihat sangat praktis dan mudah 👍👍👍
I just saw your last video on zinc manganese video and I got back to have a look to this.
I have two question:
1) you said "same principle of zinc bromide" for zinc-manganese what did you mean? What the chemistry?
2) you were expecting the battery to self-discharge, the other type did?
1) I mean the same cell housing design with salt bridge. The chemistry are: one is Zn - Br and another is Zn - Mn.
2) Static cell designs can have higher self-discharge. That cell design with salt bridge have good stable voltage with Br and Mn
@@cayrex thanks bro, just for Zn-Mn I can't understand the electrolytes...maybe ZnBr and MnBr? This is what you meant?
Nice....in video approx 2 min 15 sec did u add zinc sulfate to tp salt bridge
Correct. ZnBr2 and ZnSO4
You mean 4 min 15 sec
@@bigonprivacy2708 ZnSO4
I saw a high voltage zinc battery in the channel. I wonder what the result would be if you put acid in one container and alkaline electrolyte in the other?
Soruyu geri aldım, zaten benden önce düşünüp videoyu çektiniz, kanalda buldum :)
Where do you get your carbon felt?
Ebay = search for pan based graphitic carbon felt
Can you approximately tell the capacity of such cell. Maybe Wh/l. Or teoretical energy density. It would be nice to compare it to other types of batteryes.
Zinc bromine have the energy from 50 to 80 wh/kg
Would be interesting to see you duplicate the Gelion battery. Gonna read their patents.
Hey brother, check out this video and see how he uses a bridge. Never having to replace or perform maintenance to bridge. Hope it helps you, blessings
Hi! What video?

@@cayrex sorry had to dig for it in Playlist.
@@project-unifiedfreepeoples ah ok 😁
@@cayrex same principle as bridge just changing electrolyte.
