    THANK YOU ❤️ For these tips and tricks that help us to continue to look fabulous after we are home for weeks! What a compliment to our stylist when we continue to get compliments weeks later! I have a bob I am growing out, and as its been growing out, its still looking great during the transitioning.

    Great advice. On a whim, I used a volumizing mousse and took out my hot rollers for the first time in ages yesterday just to see what would happen. I had the most beautiful full shiny hair and bend. I usually like to wear my hair with its natural wavy messy texture but the hot rollers result makes me want to spend just a little more time on my tresses!

    Totally! While I'm wearing more curls this humid season, I still want lift at the root. ESPECIALLY at the root. I will strategically place tiny clips at the root on top before diffusing and then leave it a bit longer while drying. The "bend"!

    Teach us how to do the "bend" from roots to end. I struggle keeping the ends bent.

  • @curiousorange8232
    @curiousorange8232 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    That bend at the root has my world rocked ! I usually curl mid length to ends then tease the roots but with thinning it looks more and more frizzy and messy throughout the day as the teasing shows through ( not enough strands for a decent polish over )
    The micro mist sprays like tresemme (sp) are great for keeping a shape ! also, the big one is the face frame with thinning hair , we are used to keeping it off the face and but it looks so thin at the hairline -it’s counterintuitive, a learning curve and strange to brush it all forward around the hairline then style it but please try it !!

      @justinhickox  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Great question. I've done a handful of long form videos on my channel that walk you step by step through that. Here's one I think would be really helpful for you...th-cam.com/video/ds79Dp-yp7w/w-d-xo.html

      I was also wondering what he would say about achieving hair bend, and what products to use. For myself, I take a section of hair, brush it up and away from my head while also smoothing the section out. Then I use a large roller for no longer than 60 seconds (Going for volume, not curls) then I release the roller, and pick up a new one to begin a new section of hair. I repeat until all of hair is done.

      @Serene Grimstad I do this too! Exactly how I blow dry my hair. Sometimes I take the largest roller say to my bangs and leave it in dry while I put on makeup. Gives my bangs and bend without the curl.

    Blow drying my fine poker straight hair gives me volume for maybe 1/2 hour. Blow drying is the worst for fine hair

    My hair is literally baby-fine. Literally! EVERY product makes my hair look dirty. Blow drying just tangles my hair. Even a slight breeze tangles my hair (shoulder-length hair). The last tip also doesn't work because my hair over-curls because it's so fine.
    But thanks for trying.

We eat healthy (not always though, we definitely have balance) and we exercise 5-6 days a week. It's important to move your body, fuel your body with nutrients and take care of your mindset, in our opinion.
