this song would come over the radio every morning while my mom fixed me breakfast before school. i had to be quite while it was on. if dad was there,he used to slow dance my mom around the kitchen. thought it was silly then, not now
None better! We saw him a few months before he died and hard to believe he was his age. He just stands and opens his mouth. No straining no screaming or pushing. Just opens his mouth and sings. Easy to see why he was called “the voice”!
I was lucky to get to tour the Ryman and the memories you could feel, it put me in awe. Beautiful place. Confederate Gallery and the Green Room, thinking of all the stars which had performed there.
I was at this TV show taping! And I actually stumbled into it, a long crazy story. There were actually two tapings in one night, this one (Ray Price/Mark Chestnut) and one with Vern Gosdin/Joe Diffie.
Ray has been 1 of my favourite singers . He was great.
Nobody sings like this anymore. Class act and very respectful.
I grew up listening to Ray's music. So good!
My guy came to my house every Saturday. This song is our song. His voice makes the words mean so much to me. I love the song esp when he sings it.
Ray was and still is an absolute larger than life LEGEND! One of THE very best ever in the business.
Loved Ray Price from the first time I listened to him as a little girl with my dad. Wish they still made music like this today. Beautiful voice!

Best singer in my life time. I loved Ray Price since the first song I heard him sing!
My day wouldn’t be complete without listening to his songs. To me he is the best. .
Ray Price was a gazillion times the talent and star quality of Hank!
Beautiful voice, we always knew it was Ray Price.
Loved Ray Price songs they were beautiful. No one sings like that😭
I fell in love with his voice when I was about 12. And at 60, and all these years later he still makes me swoon.
Me too! I'm 70!
