32 volume steps (0-31) is not uncommon, but most traditional manufacturers tend to hide this fact by just not giving you a numeric indication, because they are aware that it looks a bit weird :D Seems like for efficient headphones, probably still not as good as the 10-15 year old Sansa Clip/Clip+, which is so good! Don't really trust the newer models to be of pretty much any use though, so it's not like i have a better recommendation that is actually available.

I just got this player and I had a question, how do you update the library database? My songs are not showing up under All Songs, only under Folder View.

Eh even for people who prefer really rudimentary players not having a graphical interface (displaying more than 3 lines) and navigating by hardware buttons where 1 click = 1 up/down this is too basic. I still recommend the Nintaus X10 as a 'rudimentary player': all metal, has headphone + line out, a big enough screen, a physical scroll wheel to navigate, comes with a silicone case and lasts 48 hours on continuous playback.

So I'm guessing you would have to manually add numbers if you want the listen to albums the way they were originally arranged? Sounds like a bit of a pain.....
Over 10 battery life depending on volume level. Been a while since I used it but if the battery level is really low then it's a couple of hours to charge it to full.
SAid its very nice ez to use player totallyu love mine. If it goes for picking up His on sensitive IEM's for that reason I'w made his reducing inline resistor filter's. If You want i can send You spare prototype to try out free.
@@VortexReviews1 depends what values of resistors You use. I made -10db one for myself as second as my prototype was -20db bit too much. CAnt remember who sells ready ones.
You CAN use it as a USB dac, get the latest firmware upgrade, works great, I just bought one, sound is also improved if thats possible.
I already tried it a while ago as USB DAC and it does work fine.

It normally updates when you change something but you might be able to force it in the settings menu.
Good video... Instead of 3.5 audio jack, can we use the type C charging port to connect a usb dongle dac and use our iem to listen to music?
No. The type-c is for only data transfer from a computer to move files or charging.
