- VCRUNTIME140_1.dll, VCRUNTIME140_1.dll, and MSVCP140_CODECVT_IDS.dll are common issues with new applications.
luckily there is a very easy fix! You simply install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (2015-2019) and it should fix your issues!
This is 100% safe!

NEVER manually place .dll files in the System32 and SysWOW64 folders if you do not know what you are doing! This could make the issue worse.

my friend just downloaded the new update for Fallout 4, and it just errored out with no warning from steam. reinstalled from steam from scratch and same issue. ran it manually from the location and now it showed an error. your video was simple and now fallout 4 works again. thank you so much.

You saved me big time. Thank you so much. I loaded a program that just grabbed a hold of all my saved stl. files. I was frustrated when it just started changing a bunch of my stl fonts. So I started deleting things. It was a tricky program to remove. Then I saw that the Microsoft visual C++ re- dist. x64 file was updated to a newer date. So I deleted it. uggggh. All of a sudden many of my expensive cad programs would not open. Found your video and got it fixed. Thank you sooooooo much. Just subscribed. Peace out.

When you buy/purchase expensive programs they are linked to the specific Microsoft visual files. Lesson learned.
