I have a 64-bit machine but the software was looking for the 32-bit versions of the *.dll (two of them). So, after spending a lot of time trying to figure out why my software was STILL not working even after I'd installed the 64-bit files in the right place, I ran across another person who had the same issue. He said to just upload the 32-bit files and put those in the right place. Done. Everything works now! Hope this helps.

for anyone having the 'open in another program issue' follow these steps cos no one with a big enough brain could explain throughout 2 years of this video being out. first of all, locate the original dll file and hit delete on that-it'll say its open somewhere in 'nvidia container' or 'nvidia web service' just open task manager and locate those processes, then continue to forcefully end the those tasks and try pasting the mentioned dll files into the folder and it should work. make sure those processes are ended otherwise it wont copy over. thank me later

I've tried the method of copying vcruntime140.dll but it didn't work. But thankfully when I downloaded Microsoft Visual C++2019x64 the problem was solved. Now I can run the Dolphin emulator which previously couldn't be installed. Thank you

it totally worked in my case when pandora tool is showing same error to me i also reinstall pandora didn't work and also downloaded vc redist and it also didn't work. at last i copy 32 bit dll file to pandora directory it is done 100%. Note: pandora tool was installed in program files X86 it mean it is 32 bit software therefor i copy 32 bit file. thnx

Try to do this process on safe mode Restart your computer and pres F8 many times during computer starts and try to start on safe mode tour windows and go and replace the files
I reset my pc because of this issue and this happened after i uninstall avast antivirus using IOBIT UNINSTALLER and for the program to completely uninstall I've to do a restart only this video helped me as of today 23.11.2023 thank you very much.

Will factory resetting my pc and choosing to redownload the original windows files through the cloud restore the original dll files I’m guessing they were overwritten when I jailbroke my wii and replacing them doesn’t seem to fix the issue. I really appreciate guides like this. Windows errors should have a pop up that has a quick summary fr.

The file won't overwrite because it says that the System32 folder is being used by another application. I just have no idea what's going on here. :(

It's because your 64bit file is working properly and it's your 32 bit file which is missing, try 32 bit file in the location specified in the video
