how can the owners treat a legend like this
It was mourinho
Because he’s German and the owner are something else. 🤔
If they treat legends like this can’t even imagine how they treat more average players trying to make it
He chose to rehab in Germany than with the Man U training staff. He was the one who secluded himself from the team and Mourinho being petty did what he did
Literally nothing to do with the owners
I'm a Man Utd fan but I feel embarrassed by the way they treated him. A top player and person , he deserved better. No wonder the club is in such a mess if this is the way it's being run.
Its embarrassing how de gea was treated too. Its not his fault the game modernised so fast they could have at least trained him more with his ball control and passing as his goalkeeping was already world class
@@Cautionarywhales-sr4jzthe Game didn't modernize, Pep convinced everyone his way is the only way.
@@bear_eater254Not the only way, but a good way for those who can emulate that style.
Exactly. Bastian waa easily in the top 5 best Central midfielders in the world during the 2010s.
@@Hunkzilla nah...thats a bit of a stretch don't you think.
Schweinsteiger was a baller. Top midfielder of his generation
I think between 2012 an 2014 he was the best midfielder in the world
@@elbarto6421 no that would be iniesta but he was up there
@@Bsnaoa two different types of players.
@@MK-ev5rz iniesta was still better tho, Xavi, pirlo, there was a few better but he was still very good
If you look at the whole career, of course all of them were better than schweinsteiger, because (I think mostly due to his injuries) his peak was very short compared to Iniesta for example, who was world class for nearly a decade. But if you compare the players just at their absolute peak, which was just about 1-2 years for Schweinsteiger, he was as good as Iniesta, Xavi, Pirlo in my opinion.
In 2013/2014 he really was the best midfielder in the world for me.
Maybe I‘m a bit biased as I‘m from Munich and born in 1996, so I grew up with Schweinsteiger developing from that crazy Teenager at World Cup 2006 to that phenomenal Leader in World Cup Final 2014.
With the missed penalty in CL-Final 2012 in Munich and the phenomenal following Season and CL-Titel 2013. His Career was just like written for a movie. 🫶
Remember the game he came back at old Trafford, think we played Burnley. We gave him an excellent reception. Cheered him every time he touched the ball. Deserved better.
It was against West Ham But Yes it was great to see him back
Burnley, West Ham, Aston Villa all the same.
lol man don’t even know what team they played
@@LordBonesaw it was 5 years ago. Did you go the game?
Thanks for that, he is my school mate, we are same age(both of us 1 year older than the rest of the class:)) he is the nicest guy ever, and he is a true gentleman. He reads a lot and movies are his passion.
I'm glad Jose apologized at least.
It's the least he could do
Jose did say a lot of BTS stuff at United caused a lot of problems, and Basti got the short end. Club’s got a major foundational issue, still to today
What a shame to treat another human being like that...Respect to Bastian a true professional👏👏👏👏👏
As a Manchester United fan, the way the club nose dived is exactly because of things like this. In a way the Galzers and the executives at the club deserve this failure but for us fans it's just heartbreaking.
I said Ferguson over achieved with a lot of the last title wining team. Proving how good a manager he was with drive and man management. I knew we could be off the pace for 10/20 years but hoped we would be ok, but you cannot keep having that kind of success without a bad patch.
For us city fans it's funny as fuck ahahahahahaahaha
Nah honestly I'm joking it's actually embarrassing, getting beat 4-0 from some Cockney London twats it's genuinely embarrassing as someone from Manchester, I'd rather see both Manchester teams winning instead of shit London teams
As a Liverpool fan, I love this comment and I'll come back to it when Arne Slot starts losing games.
horrible treatment
It’s bloody disgusting how this legend was treated, by the manager and my the shitty higher ups
Wasn't him alone yo.
Remember ole diss marcos rojo and sergio romero.they were sent to the u16 to train and you never heard the last of it.sad tho.
@@craigmillington1258they suck tho
@@nazgul7914 nah sergio romero was called the best number two in the world, 56% of his apperiances were clean sheesd
@@emil8025 ah yeah I confused romero with andreas pereira.
They treat a World Cup champion like that. What the puck mannnnn
That Man U treated Schweinsteiger this way on his birthday makes me hate the club even more
Damn, you gotta respect the fact that he didn't run to the media. Imagine treating out of all people Schweinsteiger 😲
My favorite German player growing up had his name on my national shirt the man’s a legend .🇩🇪
I bet that was costly 😂
He was very highly respected in England before he joined Manchester United by majority of knowledgeable football fans. The club treated him disgusting, the United fans recognised this mate. Nice win over the Jocks last night 😂
I will forever hate my beloved club for doing that to an absolute legend of the game! Not done. Not fair.
As a MUFC , man our club such a garbage....😢
What Mourinho did with him is shameful
@@aureliano_37 is not just Scheweinsteiger...Mufc did same with Romero, Victor Valdez , Cavani, Sanchez , Mkhitaryan and a few other more I can't remember players! these people are classy in their own.
We are disgraceful!
@@blitzcank9482 Add Keane and Stam, Paul McGrath, Whiteside to that list. Terrible club
As a fan it’s very sad to see that such a player didn’t feel as he’s part of the team at United.
There was too much toxicity in the club along with NEPOTISM an hihg politics.the club add players like this just to sell jerseys but these types of elite players just want to play to win but of course the club saw that and got rid of them
Do u blame him? From being considered an absolute legend for Bayern Munich to training with 16 year olds the disrespect is crazy I'm glad your clubs in the shit
Manchester United is such a miserable place as for players who are this hungry and willing but get treated so horribly I love my team but sometimes it's hard to accept that this happened to Bastian he is a world class player
And now they're going to the other end of the spectrum to give Antony as much playtime as possible😂
Should have finished his career in Bayern ,legendary midfielder
Still remember basti performance during wc 2006.what a performance along side with germany scheneider,frings,ballack..
Oh man Those 2 legendary shots from frings which were identical long shots in the first match of the world cup. Omg what great day it was watching world cup with family
As a United fan, the club is bad
Bastian still loves United so much...love love love him!! Legend
Even after that, he celebrates our every small victories. I just love his passion for our club to this date.
Probably, manu fans must show huge respect 🫡 for this legends. He is not the guy that runs to the media and talks, that’s Gentleman character. A character that’s keep everything in balance even its not. Never thought he had gone through such situations until watching this one ☝️ A true Gentleman 🫡🫡🫡
He endured all that what an elite mentality while some player will turn to social media and the media when the manager says he isn't training well
Well, he came the first day, thats a good start to me
I used to love mourinho. What he did to Schweini is unforgivable. Being kicked out by Rome is pure Karma
They also wanted to sack maguire the moment he started to become their best player
we have treated some legends of the game like shit lately !! we have lost our class
As a United fan, this just makes it clearer to why we can’t stand the glazers. The guys a legend and getting treated like that 🙈
The executives like john mourtough are part of what is going on re the club. It's clear why the club is in such turmoil.smh
Rare Mourinho L.
It's common Mourinho always do this shit
Mourinho can't stand players with an ego. He must've read Schweini's late arrival and outside rehab as an ego move. Which is utterly absurd, because he is the last player on earth to have an ego problem.
It’s so common he does this all the time
Schweini has achieved more in his last years than the club has achieved in the last 15 years 😂
they could have used him so much better
he was the main player the engine who carried to worldcup winning in 2014
the man who started as a attacking midfielder or attacking winger
did the dirty job of defense and building the game from the base
toni kroos now regarded as one of the best got to shine bcoz of schweinsteiger
tooni is one of the best playing back in midfield controlling the game
distributing the ball
but he is not the one doing the defensive dirty work
schweinsteiger did both
Ballack did both
Beckenbauer did both
Matheus did both
great german players
When he was a young right winger or right midfielder I really liked him spacially in Germany, what a strong fast player he was. Also he had a great style when his shirt were our like ronnie. He was stylish
Clubs treat players like this then call players disloyal when they move for more money.
Jose was only doing the owner’s bidding at that point. It’s sick for anyone to blame Jose
I wanted him to succeed there. Gutted he left the way he did. Jose Mourinho is a coxk.
Broke my heart seeing him leave Bayern I wanted him to stay with us forever, especially going to Man U?!? Wished him the best and success winning trophies but just horrible how he was treated! Glad he never bashed and dragged the name Manchester United to the ground. Stayed professional and showed love to the club to this day!! Our FUẞBALLGOTT!! ❤️🤍
man united, disrecpecting Legends one at time. shameless we have become
Despite how he was treated, he still talks fondly about the club and is very active in supporting it too. I loved him when he was at United and still follow his socials. Great professional.
I remember when he returned and came on as a substitute, the ovation he got from the United fans spoke volumes about what a great player he was.
when even the coach has a hard time dealing with the people in higher positions like murtough, you know the club is already rotten to the core. As a man united and bayern fan, i feel ashamed for the horrible treatment a legend like schweinsteiger received.
Several of our players have rehabilitated away from the club without any issue. This had nothing to do with the higher ups. This was Mourinho and his classic toxicity. He was the real virus
@@broderickfall delusional

@@broderickfall it’s my team too buddy can’t you read? lmao delusional x2

Unbelievable. Even if he wasn’t a legend, this isn’t how you treat anyone . This club has no care or regard for its players and the sport.
Mamma mia che fenomeno pazzesco.....il mio centtocampista tedesco preferito❤❤
I was surprised why Mourinho did that cause i thought he was a Mourinho type player strong, quick, technical, loves to tackle..
He wasn't really finished Man UTD could have got at least two years of good performance from him.
A great German footballer. Who played at very high level for club & country. Treated horrendously.
Schweinsteiger and Lahm are on top of my 'sport idols' list. Terrific players and awesome, honest people=))
Gross, I am Spurs and our Chairman is unpopular as he is known to make a lot of money but don’t put it back into football. But Man United club makes Spurs Chairman looks great.
I’m a United fan and I can honestly say the club is a shambles in the way they treat players.
So sorry Basti.
They probably thought that theres is lack of quality in that german champions league and WC winner.
As a United fan sorry man you deserve alot better! Legend
As a german how can you treat a legend of the game like that. This guy won a fucking WC with a bloody face, against Messi. after smashing brazil and Ronaldo on the way. That tournament Was bigger as everything manchester United reached combined.
One of the great German midfielders and they treated him like a League One loanee
Unbelieveble, hpw dare they. Its ashamimg to treat Bastiaan this way
Hey Dream all his Life to Play for United! What a legend
Honestly unbelievable... Out of everyone you treat Bastian lile this
The fact he still supports United on social media and everything after the terrible treatment they did to him is crazy. He was such a great person and player
Thats sad man! He is a class player
The way they treated this humble world champion legend is another reason I hate united
Wow I knew something was going on. I remember this happening and was wondering why on earth is a player his calibre playing with the academy team.
Thats whats wrong with United for a decade. Its heart & soulless
He should have finished his career with us at Bayern. A legend. MIA SAN MIA!
Schweinsteiger what a player ! And what a gentleman ....
As a lifelong United fan for over 40 years, the way the club treated a player of Bastian's stature and quality was just embarrassing
This is why Sir Bobby Charlton never wanted a manager like Mourinho at Man Utd.
Yeah, he's tactically proficient but often acts like a toxic and egoistic asshole.
I feel really sorry for how we treated players since SAF left makes me just so mad 🔴⚪️⚫️
Manager and owners doing? Quite shocking as we all blamed Jose for this. Least Jose apologised.
One of the best midfielders ever
He should've gone straight tovthe PFA. He also would've had a good claim for constructive dismissal.
I was so happy when we signed Bastian, despite a limited knowledge of the bundesligue (probably spelt that wrong) i knew he was a proper good player, sad when he left as well. United is an absolute joke from top to bottom.
He should've spoken to the media, it might've helped him and also exposed Mourinho.
Awesome 👌
This is one of the many reasons why manchester united has fell so low.
...fell
Imagine the happy u16s tho training with a World Cup winner 🙌
So why did the get him? I don't understand
We need more talk like this, an ex-player who now have nothing to do with the club currently exposed what the fakk is the problem with the club.
As a Manchester United fan this makes me so angry
Big personality. Thats what munich needs right now
true United diehard fans .
He's the most German looking German I've seen or heard of playing ⚽. Just like Dirk with 🏀. They look like something out of a dark medieval Fairy Tale or WWII Battlefield
If only we had it sooner
This video is doctored. He didn’t get told that until the summer of his last year with United.
Its been a habit with United and how they treat specifically veteran players, Basti is probably the most egregious because what exactly did he do wrong? always been a lovely person, even to this day loves the club despite how it treated him, the German doctors thing just sounds like a convenient excuse.
Jose Mourinho never talked to him or apologized, the cutting of the original Interview/Video is misleading!!!
Again, I'm a lifetime Utd fan. I'm just embarrassed by the way we treat players such as this!
Who else thought when he was told not to go onto yhe dressing room they were having a surprise birthday party
In hindsight I genuinely think that is Jose stayed at United they’d be in a better spot than they are now lowkey
We still view you as one of us Sebastian.......thank you for you service legend
Thats the Way Mourinho Never Train Bayern today, They Not Forget what he doing to Bastian
The club has doctors . Good or bad is not the point.
Club doctors will do their best to bring you back quickly and optimally. Other doctors dont care how long your recovery period is . If they tell bastian to sit for 4 months ,the club still has to pay his salary despite not playing.
So basically maybe this legend should have coordinated with both club and external doctors , to abide by the clubs systems and maintain respect.
he looks like an older donny van de beek
That club treats players like absolute dog 💩. It’s an absolute cess pit.
Imagine the under 16s reaction when he turned up 😅
Different level of disrespect, not even the reserves or to train on his own , the UNDER 16s
Jose before he got the job said how lui van gaal wasn't treating Bastian the rigjt way..🤔he's he's a hypocrite.
Mourinho is such a diva and a B word 💀
No wonder Utd had gone down hill so much they treat a lot of players like crap
Profesional player... Goodjob
What a disgrace and embarrassing for any Club to treat player that has proven quality and loyalty like Schweini has. Disgusting.
Brother was a world champion and champions league winner 😂 he was more accomplished then every man u player in 2015
Such a legend of the game, the fucking under 16s man, train with the under 16's,would have been best days of their young lives tbf,but wtf I'm embarrassed for my club
no my friend ,he is legend ,but for Bayern , sorry ,but not for us ,he should earn that here ,but he didn't
Don't blame him for avoiding British doctors 😂
How the fuck can a club like utd treat an absolute LEGEND like Bastian Schweinsteiger that???
No wonder there where they are
He got paid plenty folks 🏴
