- Day 2 at XPONENTIAL 2024 San Diego. In this video, I stop by a few more vendors, including the popular drone company Skydio. Skydio was able to give an update on their latest drones and where their focus is moving forward. I also talked to ACSL, a drone company based in Japan.

Nailed it.
In Ukraine the feedback from the front lines is that Skydio drones are super prone to jamming, the Ukrainian military went back to DJI because the connection is rock solid and very difficult to jam…
And who is the source for that ?

Skydio is essentially e-waste in Ukraine.
Consumer drone market needs more competition. Wish Skydio stayed in it
We the consumers got Skydio to where they're at today yet they left us behind.
The problem is also their tracking tech is still better than anyone else's. It sucks not having any alternatives.
@@BlownMacTruckI've found my mavic 3 pro's tracking is really shitty. Doesn't work 80% of the time.

Really good video flytpath. Since skydio's s2 was junk, they had to leave the consumer market. Now with the X10, they won't even tell you the price. They're probably hoping the American government bans DJI drones. That's their only chance. Most of the X10 is probably made in China anyway. IVue doesn't even say anything about their camera, and want to charge you $250 for a different color. I have a mavic 3 pro. It's the best now, but there's still a lot of room for improvement. Like cellular connectivity worldwide and releasing the SDK. Their software could be a lot better. But from what I see from these American companies, DJI has nothing to worry about.
You must have made the rounds in the afternoon, it was packed in the morning with ton's of crowd noise.

It’s gonna be hard to beat Dji unless you can steal their secrets. Like they have done us.
Yup. Sad to see the US now stealing Chinese technology. They can't build theirs to be competitive to DJI.
Tell skydio It's possible to sell a good product to the government without banning the competition .. I guess they forgot you actually have to have a good product first.
