I've thought this before, they should have had different animations that play depending on different factors of what you have done in the game and how many survivors you have at the end. Like if you chose warlord but had a fairly big group they could all raise their guns in the air aggressively, but on the other side of the coin if you were a sheriff but all your survivors died and you were alone, the last one just sits on the rock, head in his hands looking sad.
Seeing your survivor give a speech to himself at the end makes me believe that he went insane due to social isolation in the zombie apocalypse, truly an inspiring story

Why haven't Undead Labs offered a single player survival option? Add more hostile humans, Remove hearts and all the radio (distractions), make the zombies finite - though they don't need to be on the map constantly 10,000 could be a maps total (the game idea is to take them all out) and try and find a way to have huge hordes (days gone did it in far better looking game) As time goes on the average zombies begin to rot so are easy to melee kill but the zombies horde up as they get rotten/squishier also the usual super zombies evolve from the hordes so the incentive is to kill them asap before being over run. Hardly rocket surgery but nope we'll get another curveball or some such thing instead. btw there are a number of mods that could almost achieve this :- Capital Of The Dead (adds hordes to whatever size set), Longer Mission Draws (could be edited to prevent missions altogether), Stay Safe (keeps areas.... safe) - I'm sure theres other mods that could be tweaked.
I have wanted a single-player bersion of State of Decay for a while. There's something about this game that keeps me coming back to it, but sometimes I don't want to do all the community management stuff, unfortunately for me I play on xbox so I can't download mods, but in the future I may get it on PC to switch things up a bit for future videos.
Same here, I'm playing it again as I type - Undead keep adding & tweaking mods, very surprised no Single Player role play has been added as part of the many updates they continue to role out : As much as I'd like to see considerable changes in the upcoming SOD3 I doubt it will have a single player mode. I was told by Git Gud Fox (he's done lots of videos on SOD) he said the founding lead of Undead has left suggesting we'll be getting much more of the same in the new game it might be amazing but I still don't see why the game can't support a 7 Days to Die / Project Zomboid style mode as well as the current system. (7 Days to Die is too clunky for my tastes and PZ aside from being brutal it's top down isometric). As Undead Labs continue updating SOD2 years after release and yet have not added a single player mode convinces me they wont be adding 1 to SOD3 because adding an single player mode in with an update would encourage new players that might be put off by the current scripted nature of the core game thus take a second look at SOD 2 and therefore be interested in SOD 3, but not adding single player suggests we wont be seeing it in either version of the game. Hopefully the Project Zomboid team will go all out on their next game, preferably 3rd person. They should have the resources thanks to the massive success of the 1st game.@@mooseychoosey

I did this challenge on lethal zone but i used a blood plauge survivor which made it a bit easier but heavy weapons are a must if you want to do this challenge
I almost never use heavy weapons in games because they always feel too slow, and I prefer faster more precise attacks. But I will definitely have to try using heavy weapons
i always ended up with 1 of 2 issues either my survivors could not stop trying to yeet themselves in every way possible or i could not keep a single car for more then like 2 or 3 day’s
I completely understand the car thing. A car usually doesn't last me longer than a few in game days, I'm always crashing the stupid things and flipping them over like I'm in the dukes of hazard. Can community members sedoku themselves? I never encountered that.

Aaaah, I see what you mean. Yeah, that happens to me even now. My main account has over 40 days survived, and in that time I've lost maybe 7 community members. The dumbest one was a guy who went out when he was supposed to be in the infirmary, and he got ripped in half by a jug.
i've done this on nightmare. rolling for somebody with "worked in an office" makes things pretty easy because you have programming and the hero bonus is free labor, which means drone strikes are available after you kill a couple hearts and get a portable generator/power outpost/builder boon. lethal is quite a bit harder than nightmare but nightmare isn't much harder than standard

choose warlord, get the ar and all the ammo and as much grenades as possible, if youre doing it on green it can be all used to destroy all ph but on standard it can destroy around atleast half (for me anyways)
That's a good idea. If I were to try this again, I would probably do it on dread. But the idea of a single maniac running around blowing up plague hearts is hilarious, so I'll have to try this.

Did this back when lethal first launched, did it first try, amd realised something that makes solo easier is that you get less random missions, and no sieges. So later i did it again, but i kept one useless twat at the base to consume resources, and i amtagonised EVERY enclave i came across. Great success!
makes me release how much harder lethal is. For half of this video I was like "how did he do that and get away?" Then released lethal isn't the only gamemode.
Yeah, I played it on standard, mainly because it was the default setting. And in case people want to play along that don't have much experience with it.

It's why I used the dead weights for unpaid labour. Keeping one useless scrounger around just so you can build some stuff isn't a bad idea.
