Dying to Alduin technically ended your quest to beat the game as Dracula. Playing beyond dying in game is cheating.

im only 3 mins and 27 seconds in and so i far ive learned several new things i never knew in all my years playing skyrim: that you can make scrolls, kettle jumping, duplicating things at whiterun. excited to see what else i will learn

What even the point of only scrolls if you dupe them... That's like slightly worse (or better) than just a mage run

Cool run! I actually used a scroll out of need for the first time recently. I was jumped by the hired thugs outside of Markath at a low level with crappy equipment and basically no spells, but I wanted to beat them instead of fleeing. So I used a Blizzard scroll

I once had a build who only used Scrolls, staves, potions, and food items bought from vendors. It turns out that the Speech tree replaced a otherwise necessary magicka bar.

So if you can use those reasons for using gauntlets, then does the same not apply to anything else promotion-wise? There were other pictures and such with other gear, so why does the same not apply then? Seems like a self-imposed double standard

Rookie mistake; You chose High Elf on a run where you wouldn’t be using Magicka. You shoulda gone with either Breton for Magic Resist or Dark Elf for Fire Resist. Alduin might not have owned you if you had.

I always end up with a pile of scrolls because "they'll be handy at some point" but I never end up using them 😂

I never use scrolls in Skyrim. I think that theyre more useful being sold than used lol

Nice. I think this would be a good idea for a Skyrim run, as with the Blood Fountains would make a good excuse to do the blood dips, and there isn't a rule about the player having to actually be the one to strike the killing blow on Alduin or any other male NPCs.

the Dovahkiin not wearing gloves is somehow depicted consistent across all Skyrim trailers except Hearthfire (the latter has the Dragonborn wearing both correct full sets of Iron then another set of Hide without helmet with a Two-Handed weapon), but not in other medias something else to note: in Dawnguard trailer the Dovakiin is seen using Dawnguard War Axe and Dragonbone Arrows on his back in 3rd person, there's also 1st person snippets with bare arms shooting Dragonbone Bow and Crossbow implying to be him as well then in Dragonborn trailer the Dovhakiin is still depicted bare armed with Dragonbone Arrows on his back, but there's another shot of him striking someone with the Nordic Mace

Ive unironically never used the alternate start mod, ive tried it but found that most of the alernate starts are just for skipping guild intro quests and starting with houses which A) cucks me out of helgens significant pile of loot to sell and locks me out of the helgens keep sneak leveling exploit and B) starting with houses or other advanced game stages always just felt cheaty for me, there is precious little to do in skyrim as it is without skipping over things just bc they feel boring
