Have you ever worked with Radiation Induced Heart Disease where heart muscle is damaged and scar tissue continues to form in vessels despite lowfat vegan (cooked) diet and appropriate exercise? How does one keep scar tissue from forming?

So is it a raw plant based diet you need? Or can it be a cooked one? Can you eat fruit on it?

    • @MontgomeryHeartWellness

Yes to all three. It depends on your condition. A raw diet can help you recover faster.

Based on the updated guidlines from 2022 with aorta sizes etc.
I would say there should be eckg and echo done so there is a base line.
It's not adding radiation, so why not

I have A-Fib and my total physical came back with everything in normal ranges. My upper and lower arteries were looked at 1 year ago came back clear. A month ago I was told “slight beginning” even too little to discuss. I moved from one state to another and my blood pressure will not come down so increased and added medication. I’ve been on Warfarin since 2012. My number are in balance. A few weeks ago I was rushed to emergency and for 3-4 hours to stabilize me. They couldn’t so they shocked my heart and just had Echo and wore a monitor for a week. I was told Echo good and monitor a few A-Fibs. A home EKG showedI had a dip and 2 beats together. I’m breathing better and walking without the loss of breath.I have changed food and 10 minutes of walking and increasing slowly. My doctor is an Assistant to doctor and I’m not feeling that not knowledgeable enough on A-Fib.

Have you tried deep breathing from your diaphragm, slowly and steadily - like counting 4 in and 4 out for 30 secs or so to start? It is better of you can do it for much longer, but get a feel of it. Slow and steady breathing is an excellent exercise anyway. Lying don on back place hands of stomach and watch your hands rise as you count in and then down when breathing out. Breath in and out through nose. When you get the hang of it try increasing to six counts in and out and after a few days of that 8. Just relax and think about the seagulls flying over the sea cshore or the wtaer cascading off a mountain, or repeating psalm 23.

@@lilylui1 Here in California they are giving me Entresto and Carvedilol. Also furosemide as needed. It is very difficult because my ejection fraction is only20%. I did get a pacemaker and no more Afib. Try the D-ribose if you get a chance. I still want to get the eecp.

My husband just got a cholesterol test and it was high.. 249 and his doctor then told him not to eat meat but he can have fish and chicken.. and come back in 3 months for a re- test.. I was shocked.. I can't believe the Dr. told him that.. And he totally doesn't listen to me.. I am vegan ..he said he's gonna believe his doctor over me so I am at a loss what to do.

show him a nutritional comparison chart for beef, pork, chicken, and fish flesh, and maybe a few favourite vegetables that might substitute (e.g. cauliflower steak, portobello mushroom, etc.). The numbers should speak for themselves showing how ignorant the doctor is in acting as if the chicken and fish won't have the same physical effect on your husband as beef and pork will.

It's not the cholesterol in the food that causes the cholesterol to increase. It's the toxic effect that the foods have on the body's organs that's problematic.
