    I really appreciate this video. Thank you so much! I have never seen an influencer talk about which brush to use where so I’ve always guessed which brush I should use. Your skin is so stunning that you don’t need makeup, but I like how you say less is more the older we get. I agree! 😊 Happy Mother’s Day to you & your mom. I hope you both have a wonderful day celebrating each other! 🌸💐🌺🌼 Sending you love & light from Oregon❤️

      very interesting. I use elf putty primer then powder/creme counter. What is your coloring - I am medium fair and like a full coverage. Do you get depth with your method? Do you use foundation? Thank you

    • @emmyt9304
      @emmyt9304 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am fair/medium complexion and like medium coverage with my foundation. I recently started using the elf putty bronzer in "tan lines" for contouring and found that the putty primer brush is perfect for application. I do get depth, but I personally go for a lighter application anyway. I think if you built this up it would look good though.

    I have a trick for us "mature " ladies. Find your last lash on the upper lid, then take your liner pencil and go up to meet the bone. You can use a dark eye shadow too. Believe it or not it will lift the eye. This is not a flick, just a little line going up. I was skeptical too. I tried it and it worked!!

    UPDATE-You NEVER want to use a dry makeup sponge as it will soak in too much foundation (wasting it). You DO want to get it wet and ring it out very well as this method will apply the coverage more smoothly and reduce waste. Look up correct makeup sponge usage online for numerous support on the method of using a makeup sponge. Wash out your sponge before each use with a bar soap to use a clean sponge each time your apply your foundation.
    Concealer should always be set with a powder (dry) right after you bounce and blend your concealer and foundation (wet), the products will bond better, sealing everything into the exact spots you want them (aka “Setting” your concealer or foundation). This creates a fixed, flawless finish that will hold all day - from morning to midnight.
    The first eyeshadow is called the “Transition” shade which should be slightly darker than your skin tone to serve as a meeting point for contrasting shades to ensure they properly blend together.
    TIP - You always want to tap off your powder brushes when using them so as not to apply too much product (powder, eyeshadow, blush, etc.). Never blow off the excess unless you want spit on your face.
    If using the same brush for different colors (e.g., liner and brow highlight), be sure to remove any shadow by wiping the brush off on a microfiber towel, use the dry clean spray or a makeup brush color switch tool.

    Almost every makeup sponge on the market recommends wetting the sponge first. It’s not to dilute the foundation, it’s so that the sponge doesn’t absorb most of the foundation.
