For anyone interested in Gloomhaven I think you should start with Gloomhaven:Jaws of the Lion. It has the same rules (1 or 2 tweaks) as full-fat Gloomhaven but it introduces the rules gradually over the first 5 missions. And for £50 for the game it's a great way to start without worrying about spending too much cash.
Jaws of the Lion is fantastic, I really recommend it. My parents, who couldn't manage Munchkin, love JotL because it does such a good job of introducing the rules.
Every time you talk about "SBG" my hopes come up that you might be talking about the Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game, only to be shattered by reality seconds later. Still one of the best GW game systems there is.

That small fraction of a second when the impulse of pressing harder is travelling down your arm nerve pathways down to your fingers... it certainly is in terms of not having to pay for alcohol etc however i found it near impossible to safely dispose of waste water. evaporating it in a way that ensures animals cant reach it is a nightmare and unless you live in a very dry climate it takes forever. also the resin is useless for prints that are thin such as skeletons. my gloomhaven living bones broke 7 times as i was painting them. since then ive switched to a blend of traditional abs like blended with siraya tenacious to improve the flexibiilty. disposing of the waste fluid is also a lot easier as the alcohol evaporates very rapidly
Not sure about other washing/curing station but the Anycubic has a tank you put your cleaning liquid and it has a spinning blade that uses magnetic base spinner that creates a vortex to clean the items. You then place an acrylic plate to place the minis on to cure. I put a clear bowl (bottom of a 2 liter of soda) of water on the spinning plate to cure. The water helps diffuse the UV to cure the entire miniature.
I'm new to 3d printing and recently moved my printer to a room that may have been humid during the summer. The printer was not used for a few months and I just noticed some weird solid masses forming in the pool of resin near the corners. Does anyone know what this might be and what causes this?
I did the “squeeze to clear block” maneuver on a tube of Vallejo putty and it blew the BACK out where it’s crimped and got a squirt of putty to the face. Glad I wear glasses!
An ultrasonic cleaner works really well as a final clean, but you need to clean off the majority of the resin first for it to be effective. I normally use two pickle jars (the type with an insert), one as a 'dirty' jar and one as a 'clean' jar, cleaning the bulk of the resin off in the dirty IPA and any remaining off in the clean. They can still feel a little tacky afterwards so putting them in an ultrasonic in a ziploc bag full of IPA does the trick, though it's not really necessary. Water curing is typically the best for end resin properties, but don't cure in the same bucket as your wash and cure! You'll solidify the resin you just cleaned off that's dissolved in the IPA/water and end up with a big mess, and likely ruin the impeller at the bottom.
Personally I like that the enemies respawn when you rest in dark souls, it makes you have to figure out the enemy attack patterns in each room and that is exactly what the video game feels likes . 8 bananas.
In my experience using ultrasonic cleaner, you'll want to give the model a once over with a toothbrush before putting it in. It's not as quick&easy as using the curing station, but I like it as an alternative when I'm running low on IPA.
This makes me want to find someone in my neighborhood that likes playing games, I have pushed my husband into playing Gloomhaven and other games and always am super excited to play, but recently decided to stop pushing cause it's no fun playing with someone that isn't as interested in board games :/

I love Talisman and I feel it is misunderstood. It's a game of gaging probabilities and ever changing board state, since many cards will remain on the board after they are drawn. It is not monopoly as you always have at least 2 directions you can go to, and many tiles are worth considering. Characters have their strengths, weaknesses and unique bonuses. You can cast spells on yourself and others, reroll dice, make other players reroll dice, change winning conditions, add expansions, etc. The amount of adventure cards is huge, so games are never the same. It's a great game, definitely one of my favorites to play with friends! PS: the argument that games are too long is somewhat wrong, as you can simply lower the amount of trophy points needed to 'lvl up'.
