Hmmm. Reminds me that, in the USA, for us the 99%, it does not matter how popular a policy is; there is only a 30% chance of it becoming law. However, for the top 1%, exactly how popular a policy may be is how probable that policy is to become law. It is almost as if "democracy" only exists for the ultra-wealthy. Remember in November, your vote will make little to no difference on what policies are made law. Unless you are a billionaire. Direct action is the only way we have ever been "given" our RIGHTS.

If the recent article by the Intercept is accurate the US attempt to build a pier for delivering Gaza aid is not going to be fully functional because one or more of the ships delivering the materials to erect the pier have major mechanical issues . If this article is accurate the Gaza aid being shipped will at the very least be limited and wouldn’t it be more practical for the US to properly service our own equipment before sending any type of assistance ( particularly to Israel ) or maybe this was the US plan to appear compassionate knowing they would not fulfill their offer ( BECAUSE OF MECHANICAL DIFFICULTIES ) .

Bibi has been upfront that one of his primary goals is to ensure that there is never a viable Palestinian state. Even the more "moderate" members of the Israeli government aren't willing to agree to a Palestinian state. They're only willing to consider something less than a state. So trying to put this all on the Palestinians is a bit rich. The biggest barrier to a 2 state solution is the Israeli government. The next biggest impediment is the US. My comment was directed at the hypocrisy of our government officials constantly saying how the US supports a 2 state solution. And then doing everything it can to back an Israeli government that is committed to destroying any possibility of a Palestinian state (and using our veto power in the UN to make sure the Palestinians remain occupied and under Israeli oppression).
