I spent many years protesting Vietnam, civil rights with Dr King. Supported the JANES of Chicago. How did we get to this point of repression in just 50 years?

I was listening to New York Mayor Eric Adams use the term “outside agitators” the other night. The first time I ever heard that term was in the 1960’s when one of the segregationist Democratic Southern Governors spoke of “outside agitators coming into this state and getting our Negroes riled up.” How times change while some things stay the same.
