I have my felony apart and I'm going to do this build! So excited, ordering my dual motor mount today. If I have any questions I'll be sure to ask! Cool video brother
@goldfighter2421 absolutely not, those gears have been on there for years now and that car gets abused badly. You should only have spur or diff gear issues on truck bashers, but even then its rare.
In all honesty being i have a 8s Kraton with a 8s hobbywing system, I'd say both are good and don't cutout or hit max amp cutoff no matter how hard you drift it or speed run it. If I didnt have the extra hardware to produce this 12s dual 2050 I'd have bought a 8s hobbywing system. So i'd say 8s is better if you have to purchase and dont have 2050's on hand. 12s if you have the hardware already as all you need is a motor mount.
@Simon Kuskye would you say torque is similar to the 8s system? I know I'm asking a really generic question given can sizes, gearing variables and voltage 😅. I was just thinking 2050 twins can handle high gearing that a single big can, can. I have spares for the 2050 set up and currently run the 8s/160a system in my limitless. Will be fun to try the twin set up!
@@Ryndel Definitely more overall torque with the dual 2050's. I would say the dual 2050's and dual 150amp esc's can take more gearing then a single 8s system yes.
@@mariopauly6877 105mph, but you can hold full trigger now in a parking lot smoking the tires to your hearts content and no esc's shut down or burn up. Which is more what i was going for.
Thanks man, so Channel 1 steering, Channel 2 and Channel 3 throttle, plug one esc per channel. I use a Radiolink Rc6gs radio and R7fg rx. Then go into the radio and you can program the channels to do what you want in this or any computerized radio.
@NomisRC thanks man... currently in the middle of a dual motor infraction build but I run the same transmitter as you, and there are next to no videos showing reciever wiring setup. Thanks again.
No the dual motor setup can bash all day without rest.. It's the main reason why I did it. Not for speed for durability. Benefit it is insanely faster then a single motor though.
@@scottm2398 6s per motor. If u had a single 6s system this dual blows that the fuck away. Its 2 6s systems totalling 12s. I have learned one thing though and that is you cant count hahaha.

@@goldfighter2421 sounds good man, youll love it
@NomisRC how fast did it go after your build or a range of speed?
@goldfighter2421 not much faster but way more torque and it doesnt cut out ever from over amp.
@NomisRC do u have an issue with gears stripping alot or early stripped?
@goldfighter2421 absolutely not, those gears have been on there for years now and that car gets abused badly. You should only have spur or diff gear issues on truck bashers, but even then its rare.
NICE BUILD BRO, BUT I'M NOT ABLE TO SEE HOW REVERSING ONE OF THE MOTORS WOULD WORK.
Great conversion. Do you think dual 2050 6s or single 1250kv 8s is better?

Hi, how fast run this car with dual 2050KV Motors? Great Job
