Newsom is the worst governor doesn't take care of the homeless, forestry,gas prices highways, disabled vets and the disabled like me
And he's spot with people seeing racism in too many areas. I'm a 24 year old white guy and on my lazy days when I just throw on some jeans and a hoodie and go to walmart, bestbuy or some place like that...walking around doing some shopping I will notice these guys walking around near me shopping... never actually buying anything, picking a lot of things up and looking at at, always putting it back and always in the same aisle and always the same guy. I can jump over 3 aisles and boom, he'll go there, I can go back 3 aisles and wouldn't ya know it, he also noticed something he forgot to look at on that same aisle.
If I was black I could easily see that as the guy following and watching me b/c I'm black.

California has massively declined under the watch of gavin. I'm a native Californian. I remember when the SF Bay Area was beautiful, then it got overcrowded and creepy, so my parents moved us to the mountains. This state has so many beautiful features from the mountains to the beaches to the desert to the rainforest and the great Central Valley. It hurts my heart to see the decline of this amazing state. Current leadership needs to go.

Time flies…. I’m 56 now, but listened to this guy and Dr. Drew on l.a. alternative radio station KROQ in the late 80s while I was in high school and then at UCLA on Sunday nights on the ‘love line show’…. Carson Daly also got his start during the same time at KROQ. Fun times‼️‼️👍🏾👍🏾🙂🙂

Adam's first time on air was in 94/95 on Kimmel's morning show. He played a character called Mr Burcham. As a frequent listener to The Adam Carolla Show, I have heard the story many times.

Excellent! I enjoyed this very much, and can relate to Adam because I was born and raised in Southern California.
I was born in Santa Ana, and lived in Buena Park majority of my life. The state used to be affordable to the average person.
Now, to rent a room it costs over a grand. Apartments average at over 2 grand especially for a 2 bedroom.
I remember back in the 90s, gas cost a dollar and a few cents. The beach wasn’t so crowded and there was parking. 😂😂😂❤❤
Riverside here, I've listened to Adam since LoveLine. I'm surprised he's still in CA, I fled to Tennessee.
I relate to him, because we're both car guys and our best friends are from Nicaragua.

A few months back, I was driving down to Salt Lake City, Utah - we live in the northern part of the state, and along the hillside, there were so many tents, some you could see better than others. It took me by surprise.

Adam's comment about city optics and not punishing Hispanic workers is so true. They will come down sooo hard if a homeowner doesn't have all the right permits for a project, but they will NEVER punish or fine or discipline a Hispanic construction crew that operates with zero insurance, licenses, or permits.

I know socal very well, I was a cable contractor all over there in the '90s, During this big cvd word, bulldozing skate parks, There is a video of a woman whose outdoor seating restaurant got closed down, like Tin Horn Flats, and a film crew brought in catering tents next door. The gaslighting is off the charts
Yeah, Newsom personally authorized both the shutting down of her restaurant and the film crew tents right nextdoor.
It was an intentional insult all while he was dining inside at The French Laundry and Pelosi was getting her Wig and claws did.

What a Great Conversation. As a half black half asian man, I completely agree with Sage narrative about how liberals try to tell us minorities how we should think and feel. It's insulting. Dems do not own us. We are Strong People who are perfectly capable of thinking for ourselves. And I can't stand liberal pandering either. I despise liberals victimhood narratives. If dems think I'm a victim because of my skin tone, that's insulting. I'm voting Trump 2024 because Biden Administration is destroying the nation in my opinion. Also, Adam Carolla really has a Great perspective on society. He speaks the Truth. Good Work from both of these Truth advocates.

My summation of this episode is what I have personally been feeling for nearly twenty years;
I am not entirely sure who I should be infuriated with more;
The people who are perpetuating the lie for personal or political gain, or the people who actively choose to ignore the obvious.
This is a great show Sage! Miss seeing you do sports, because you are really insightful. But this is a fantastic show also, and I’m happy to be here for it

Thank you. When I saw it years ago, I didn’t even know who Newsome was, so I had no bias. Afterwards, my takeaway was the same as Adam’s (and probably everyone else who saw it).
@@robertmoriarty925that interview is amazing. It comes from a time when Obama had perfected the art of sounding eloquent while saying nothing. Newsom tries but fails. He did the same thing in a press conference recently when asked why they cleaned up San Francisco for Chairman Xi but couldn't do it before. He sputtered so in articulately for 5 minutes and said nothing. The guy is a sleaze ball
When I was growing up I remember adults being angry all the time. Sometimes there was laughter and kindness but it was sparse.

I am a therapist and I work with mothers all the time going through the phase of “empty nesting “. It is such a thing that women struggle with that there’s actually a diagnosable code for it. On the other hand, I have yet to meet a man (there might be some I just haven’t met them) that understands what the mom is going through.
Consider also the ratio of women who go to therapy to men who go to therapy and factor that in.

I site the interview you 2 are discussing to Anybody and Everybody who has ANY doubts about Newsom. I can't think of a more revealing interview by/with anyone at anytime. A Slippery, Slimy Eel straight out of "Central Casting" is how Gavin comes off. Newsom's so over the top it's like a BRILLIANTLY acted hour long SNL skit. Except it's not a Skit! Unless they're in on it, bought off etc. I wouldn't vote for a politician like that if they were a family member, but I guess that's why I wouldn't steal from someone just because they're back is turned, too.....
Growing up in southern California in the 1970s and 80s it was still really nice. I left in 1992 and never looked back. I wouldn't even consider living there for any amount of money. They ruined it LONG before Newsome became governor.

I live in an area with majority lefty politics. Voting is futile for me but I do. The nice thing about living here is the population number doesn't change much so I know what I've got. I can mostly pick who I interact with as I am retired. I grew up very different than Adam but in the same socioeconomic situation and amazingly I agree with almost everything he says. I enjoy sage and wish her the best.
