Bill Maher and Adam Carolla randomly riff on the war that is show business, how you know when you’re too high, how kids used to be scared of their friends’ dads, why messing up your kids ruins it for everyone, government red tape making life impossible, and the joke that Adam couldn’t tell.

Carolla was saying we're in trouble when comedians can't speak for fear of a certain group as Bill literally stops him from speaking to heap a mountain of context over the subject due to fear of that group. Then he takes it a step further and proceeds to tell Ace what disclaimers he should put into his joke in order to be able to say it. Almost nothing could have proven Adam's point better than this.

*Why Bill Maher is a dying breed:* he will recognize free speech as an issue but will you also recognize the “deep state” wacky right wing conspiracy shit is nothing but nonsense as well.
Corolla would never admit the conspiracy shit is nonsense. So therefor nothing he says concerning free speech is truly brave because the internet is already extremely over saturated with free speech right wingers to the point where its become incredibly gimmicky.

I can remember laying in my twin bed around midnight, listening to Dr. Drew & Adam talk to mostly young people about issues that I knew next to nothing about at the time. Both shows were very important to me, as far as shows go, so this was a nostalgic experience for me for sure. I'm glad to see them together. I've been fans of both for decades. I like this Bill Maher. I think politics is stressful especially these days. All you have to do is talk to someone for five seconds to learn we have more in common than not.

Me too. But many of my conservative friends think he's had an awakening. He hasn't, the wokesters just started affecting him personally and professionally.
Because it sounds good when he says we have to start by not having badfaith..........LMFAO.
Now go back and watch his take on "Trumps Collusion" back in the day...............Lmfao.
He's an entertainer, a good one. But he sees the writing on the wall. So he's adapting. But he only started adapting now that he's worried about getting censored,.........not when you were.

I can really relate to what Adam said about comparing your present age to characters on old tv shows. I do it all the time. I love 60s and 70s sitcoms, westerns and dramas more today than when they were new and say "WOW" when I google and find out that I'm the exact same age as Oliver Douglas(Eddie Albert) when he was on Green Acres. Or Ben Cartwright (Lorne Greene) of Bonanza... Good stuff, now back to the interview...

Ok, im sold... Mr. Maher has been on my like and list for years. Im a libertarian/ conservative, so of course he has annoyed me at times. However, of late he has shown what a honest, insightful American he is. He is a liberal but a pure liberal like him is closer to me as a libertarian than today's republicans or democrats. Go Bill Go. Im a fan.
