People have no idea how insane permit laws are across the country. I had a client in San Diego, California that wanted to do minor updates to the back of the building to raise the ground to stop it from flooding and get it to flow in to the existing storm drain. The permit itself just to do the project is $250,000! Not the cost of the whole project, the permission to even begin! Client in Pennsylvania invited me to a nice restaurant for dinner and it was BYOB (bring your own booze... To a restaurant?!). I mentioned it was surprising that a restaurant this nice wouldn't get a permit to sell alcohol cause that's a huge margin for revenue. They informed me that Pennsylvania charges $1,000,000 just for an alcohol permit. Insanity!

Yeah I'm sick of this crap too. To many people think you need to be certified by a college to have an opinion on a particular topic, like books are not available outside college therefore no one outside college understands anything. Maybe we should switch up the system and tell them we'll only accept their argument if their IQ passes a minimum value or after they pass a critical thinking skills test.

Stossel - one of your all time great interviews. So insightful. Now what do we do with that insight? How do we restore common sense? I want to believe theres hope, but i do recognize that i am tilting windmills. Ugh, facepalm.
Speak truth in public. Don't be afraid of the snow flakes. If they feel enough heat all around them, they will melt down eventually. We are the majority - they are 10%. We lose only if we let them win.
Just do what they're doing, hold strong with the truth. If it's a matter of actual opinion, that doesn't corrupt the truth, let it be. If it's a matter of truth, just speak it and defend it, without bending. People can believe what they want, but it doesn't change the truth, and maybe they'll realize it.
Another great interview with a common sense man. Keep up the good work! (I like how TH-cam puts the disclaimer about covid on that video. They have to keep pushing the narrative! )
Excellent interview, refreshing and "wholesome" Carolla is confident and stands by basic values... The expression "what friends are made of" really comes out in this interview.
Always loved Stossel segments ever since he started in broadcasting. Reason based on logic and just good common sense. That is a rare commodity these days.

From loveline to ACS, the man GETS IT. Sure he's funny...but he's smart and relatable. Super fun to listen to, his podcast is the Adam Carolla Show
Adam is the best. Never miss a podcast. I love to watch his interviews as well. Being the same age, he brings back so many memories when he talks about older commercials and tv shows. Love Boat, Saturday morning cartoons etc. Marty Croft interview was pure gold.
Our parents meant to make us tough and ready for the world. A world they knew was not fair, not nice and would crush you if you weren't ready or tough. Now parents raise their kids based on not doing what their parents did because they didn't like it, and they expect by some miracle by the time their children are grown the world will stop being mean and hard and cruel.
What Adam talks about his daughter going through is eerily familiar to me. When the "pandemic" first started I was masking up, trying not to go out, worried about my family who had to continue working, about my health because I have Auto Immune Diseases, so I stayed home. Low and behold no matter how careful we all were my entire family of 12 got COVID and I've had bouts with strep throat that were FAR worse than COVID. A few got rather sick, but they had flu virus, COVID in this case, and a virus is going to make you feel crappy. This is nothing new. A couple of us had mildly runny noses. I felt much better within a week or so. Yes, one of my daughters has had long lasting issues with smell from her bout with COVID, but other than that it is improving slowly. We all were really questioning things at this point (and one member of the family worked in medicine at this point in time) and with the leaks and so much other evidence coming in I became vehemently anti vax, anti COVID vax. None in my family got the vaccine (thankfully) and none will. We know COVID for what it is. A virus. VIruses have always been around and will always be around. Sadly for some they are lethal, which is why we must strive to be healthy. To exercise and eat well. We can't live in fear over every illness that comes our way unless it is an actual pandemic like smallpox. the plague were. COVID was nowhere near a real pandemic.
Im waiting for the "mental anguish" lawsuits for essential workers who had to keep putting themselves out there while many hid in the basement during COVID! I think the fear porn that we had to deal with daily re" bringing the COVID home to loved ones is worth WAY MORE than $2600.
@@jamesnoord6295 My husband was an RN in the ER all through Covid - and I was pregnant. You wouldn't believe how many people were telling me to stay away from my own husband because he might give me Covid, which could hurt me and the baby. Well, I always told them he brings home so much from the ER that we all have pretty solid immune systems. And guess what? We went all the way until December 2021 until finally getting the virus. My baby was over a year old at that point, he got a runny nose. My husband had a runny nose and couldn't taste. I got some sort of stomach bug version of Covid so that made it pretty bad because all the vomiting...but yeah. Took nearly 2 years for us to finally get it, even though he treated Covid patients constantly through the "pandemic." Sorry for the rambling - my point is - they tried so hard to to scare us during that time but I'm glad my family never bought into it. Happy New Year!

You asked, "What do they want you to apologize for?" The answer starts out as being something specific but once they realise that they have this one-sided power over all people on the right, then you must apologize every time you open your mouth and say something. It becomes less of what you said and more of who said it, once they've labled you.
I enjoy watching both these guys. I've only ever had one question for Adam Carolla, a Jewish atheist, "Why do you say Jesus Christ so often?". Not in this interview, but on his podcasts.

Great to have them together.
Insanity!
,🤟
They've gone to far with permits and regulations, it's not even about safety anymore it's about money
Scumbag Democrat run stage does it not surprise you. Things that would make the founding fathers roll in their grave. Give me a minute and I will try to find out how much it cost for the same alcohol permit in a conservative state like South Carolina where I live. The Democrat voter a horse with blinders on.
When you realize we are being governed by organized crime, it becomes much clearer.

John stossel you are still a legend. I became a libertarian because of you.
Love you, Mr. Stossel. Been a big fan since I was a little kid watching 20/20.
I love love love listening to BOTH you guys… together is even better!! Keep up the truth!! Helping people not be afraid for years now!!
Listening to Adam and John is like listening to our family conversations. Completely aligned views.
We need more men like Adam Corolla! So funny and won't put up with crap!
Good for you, we need more people like him
Wisdom is no longer required..in fact its discouraged now. CONSUME....:) great episode as always.
God bless people like Adam Carolla & John Stossel for always being fair, it's becoming such a scarce commodity these days as egos inflate all around us.
"Who are you to judge political issues? You don't know anything."
Yes, woke celebrities are a great example. They really think their opinion matter. lol!
The best answer is always, "I'm a person getting railroaded by these 'political issues' so I'm entitled to say what I think of them."
They never lay that on the empty heads who agree with them.
Cenk and the TYT are truly among the worst.
Thanks for everything you do John Stossel! You have been a voice of truth for so long, we really appreciate it.
Who does Stossel work for now?
@@maryhalverson5713 himself!

Adam is awesomeness. Wish we saw more and heard more from him
My grandkids, all 7, got covid and the youngest had no real symptoms.
One of my favorite videos yet John. Thank you for all that you do.
AOC looks pretty in red lipstick, that’s the only reason she gets as much attention as she does. I completely agree that women aren’t funny, except maybe Joan Rivers and that’s because she was allowed to be mean. I love that Adam Corolla doesn’t care about other’s opinions and I am so happy that John Stossel is still making videos like this!
And he didn't say the blanket statement that women are not funny, rather when pressed which gender is more funny.
Women are funnier that men.
A general truth.
Betty White 😛 an A.O.C. Is A Skank , NOT Pretty At ALL !
Isn't it simply mind-boggling that Adam Carolla and Jimmy Kimmel came from the same place? And look where they both are now!!
Kimmel has a profoundly creepy vibe to him these days, so not the same energy he had back in his Man Show days.
They did NOT come from the same place. Adam had a gritty youth, and worked difficult physical jobs as a young man. Kimmel…..not so much at all.
@@tek6423 true, but I meant: both coming from the man show as co-creators.
What a difference 40 pieces of silver makes, huh?
Kimmel sold out
Thank goodness Adam is holding the line. He calls out the disingenuous in the most respectful of ways with a knack for humor that we could only wish for. Thumbs up to the positively rebellious among us 👍🏁
Adam preach it!
"KUDOS"...TO YOU ADAM COROLLA....!!!! YOU'RE A GREAT PATRIOT....! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Adam has been my hero for many many years. It’s so great to see him become a powerful voice in this weird political climate. I absolutely love Adam.
He resonates common sense which is highly valued by the unbrainwashed.
John and Adam, two respectable men who always seek to find the truth in a world full of “MY truthers”.
Great interview
Great interview! I love both of you
Top tier discussion. 2 great modern thinkers at their best. Also John, a reminder that many women LOVE you and your wife is a lucky woman.
You know that many MEN love him too!! 🤣😉
@@Dogatemyhomework927 I think any person of good taste would want to be with John 😅
I would've loved to hang out with John haha
Great job guys.
Another great interview with a common sense man. Keep up the good work! (I like how TH-cam puts the disclaimer about covid on that video. They have to keep pushing the narrative! )
excellent discussion
He is so right.
Excellent interview, refreshing and "wholesome" Carolla is confident and stands by basic values... The expression "what friends are made of" really comes out in this interview.
I really like these interviews you’re doing. You do a fantastic job.
Stossel is the man! You should do a story with Richard Simmons.. I bet he'd let you interview him...
Love both of these classic gentlemen. Grew up watching both and both rarely stayed sane.
What does that me in relation to them ?
Sooooo true!
Always loved Stossel segments ever since he started in broadcasting. Reason based on logic and just good common sense. That is a rare commodity these days.
Yeah I used to love his segments “give me a break “. I think that was on 20/20 back in the day.
Love Adam and your video John.
Love your show John. Keep doing what you’re doing. Agree or disagree, you’re always fair, and that’s the best anyone can be.
Adam is my favorite podcaster/celebrity. I've listened to him for about 15 years in some form or fashion. He's a talented comedian, but IMO he's a lot more than that.
California is a hellscape. Can't believe Adam is still there.
He says he is planning on leaving as soon as his kids graduate HS in about 2 years.
You’re not old, you’re awesome! Keep doing what you’re doing.
There's nothing wrong with being a long time survivor.
👏👏👏👏👏. Well said.
Great 👍🏻 interview!!! It’s great to listen to sane people. Thank you! 🙏🏻
Absolutely the best interview I’ve heard in a while. Two of the most iconic voices, talking 😊 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼
love both u guys, great interview John never stop!
Love your videos, keep them coming!
Enjoyed this interview!
Adam Corolla ROCKS!!! I would love to sit down with the guy to have a drink and just talk.
Adam spot on about media and fear that is why I canceled all my cable March 2020.
I never apologize! I'm sorry, but that's just the way I am.

Did you know they created the virus for the vaccine? Tht's why they pushed so hard to get unsick people to take the vaccine.

Recap by Tammy AI
You asked, "What do they want you to apologize for?" The answer starts out as being something specific but once they realise that they have this one-sided power over all people on the right, then you must apologize every time you open your mouth and say something. It becomes less of what you said and more of who said it, once they've labled you.
I enjoy watching both these guys. I've only ever had one question for Adam Carolla, a Jewish atheist, "Why do you say Jesus Christ so often?". Not in this interview, but on his podcasts.
Adam is not Jewish. He is Italian.
