Is there any recourse when you bought a house and no oil tank was disclosed and the inspector didn't find one, but then you find one a year after you've closed the sale? Who's responsible for the costs? And are there any rebates out there to help with the costs, because the costs you're quoting will make many people go bankrupt.
It depends on the circumstance in which the sale took place. But from what I’ve read. All these end up in court. So the best thing you can do is go and discuss this with a lawyer.
