Devil May Cry 5 SE Update:
Attention devil hunters, today we just launched digital pre-orders for Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition, so we also wanted to share some key dates and important info ahead of launch, including the release date for Vergil DLC for Devil May Cry 5 (Dec. 15th, 2020) and an update on ray tracing for Xbox Series S.
DMC5SE Pre-Order Bonus
Starting right now, you can pre-order Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S digital stores. Anyone who purchases the game by November 18th, 2020 will get a free pack of 100,000 Red Orbs. These are immensely useful early on in the game as they’ll help unlock moves, buy Devil Breakers, buy other Orbs and even bring you back from defeat in a pinch. DMC5 Vergil DLC Release Date
We mentioned this early on alongside our game announcement, but never gave you a firm date or price. Well, it’s time to change that.
Our dev team has been hard at work in getting DMC5SE ready to launch the same day as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, so Vergil will be arriving on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC just a few weeks after that, on December 15th, 2020 and will cost just US$4.99 / €4.99 / £3.99.
To keep you motivated, we’ll leave you with a quick reminder that Vergil will be fully playable on Story Missions, The Void, and Bloody Palace.
An Update on Ray tracing for Xbox Series X|S
We’re excited to bring Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition to Xbox Series X|S with high frame rates up to 120 fps, enhanced 3D audio, reduced loading times, the Legendary Dark Knight difficulty, Turbo Mode and playable Vergil on both consoles.
Fans playing Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition on Xbox Series X will also experience the game in 4k resolution and with Direct X Ray Tracing. Both consoles deliver amazing next generation speed and performance, and while we are just now scratching the surface of what they can do our teams are eager to continue exploring the full capabilities of Xbox Series X|S in the future.
While ray tracing will be available as a downloadable title update on Xbox Series X, Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition will not support ray tracing on Xbox Series S. - เกม

Great vid but you did leave out how allowing vergil to sheath his yamato in combat actually gives him DT making the end animation of moves actually have a purpose as well as looking cool

Vergil's SDT Combo B move has a 4th hit that you missed.
Just letting you know.
He does have an extension to his combo B in SDT, after his slash at the end hit the melee again and he does a front flip slash
There is a very useful trick for the back foward kind of moves, it functions the same as Street Fighter special moves, it is actually back + forward (hold) + Button press. As long as the gap between forward hold and button press is not too big, the move will occur. Which means, keep pushing the left stick forward after pulling backward will do these moves easily
You missed the final summersault slash at the end of SDT Combo B.
Yamato is the only weapon I use when I play as Vergil. Can't bring myself seeing him weld any other weapon and the combos you can make with Yamato alone look stylist, fast and clean. Plus that judgement cut spam is always pleasing when you pull off the timing perfectly and do insane damage with your SDT and Doppelganger out :D
bruh beowulf and mirrage edge are sooo good and stylish too
I understand you not using the mirage edge as its not as cool as yomamato. But Beowulf is so overpowered. Its free psrries and armor breaks. And has the most powerful combo potential.

Vergil is honestly so fun to play in dmc5. I brought him as soon as the dlc got released.

One thing you missed is that if you let Virgil sheath his sword fully, you get a boost in style and DT. I am still waiting for the PC release, so I do not know if he still has this mechanic, but I would be surprised if he didn't.
I think they way the move Void slash works is Vergil destroys the space between him and an enemy and when he sheaths his sword the hole in space closes and pulls the enemy to him.
Unsure how known this is, but if you let Vergil fully sheethe Yamato, he gains some DT. Depending on the length of the combo depends on how much you get, around a full bar for combo C.
I'm excited to play as him again once the DLC drops. But I remember a time before DMC4SE and DmC when combo B was THE Yamato combo. How times have changed and thankfully for the better, at least with Devil May Cry.

Judgement cut chain is so hard. I was able to chain it 3x most of the time but after not playing dmc 5 for 2 months, I completely lost the rhythm and can't chain it anymore... Guess I'll need massive practice again ughhhh...
during SDT, Combo B actually gets a fourth slash, a somersault! Just to let you know!
I think you can go deeper in to some moves like the void slash, it generate a huge amount of devil trigger compare to other moves and you can spam it(I think 2 times and then you need some other move to make it generate again.) when you are short of the devil trigger. Also at SDT mode the damage is huge buffed.
Combos for Yamato: sdt with level 2 concentration spam judgement cut end
As someone who has been playin this game. If u want to learn to do multiple judgement cuts. My biggest advice is play the game. No joke i tried lookin at the animation and it took too long so i started playing and eventually you hear and see the timing and you feel the timing. It becomes instinct almost.
Thank you for these move overviews! Even though I can't play the game, just knowing what Vergil can do in this game is amazing. I assume his Mirage Blades function absolutely the same way as Summoned Swords did in DMC4SE?

You missed a move in SDT where he end in Combo B and does a foward somersault slash with Yamato.

I did notice that in DMC:Devil May Cry and Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition Vergil has the Yamato facing upward while carrying it, but in Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition Yamato is facing downward while Vergil is carrying it.
Thats actually how you carry a katana, holding its sharp side downwards often damages the cover
@@NeedForMotivationn fair point. It's like Nero with Red Queen, damages the blade so often that I am surprised that it isn't dull after each mission.

I want a guide about how to play the game , like sometimes I see myself parrying the enemy by just attacking them , and I see other people play , they dodge very significantly

I think what’s funny is that I was able to figure out all of Vergil’s moves without looking at the inputs. It’s just muscle memory at this point lol.

Nope, sadly
the only way to see vergil with spread wings is to use his extended Beowulf Combo A, in which he uses his wings to smack the enemys!
That aside, I think they kiiiiinda missed a BIG oppurtunity to add Vergil's flying attack from his Boss Fight (Or an alteration):
in DMC4 Sanctus can use a charge attack with Sparda and dashes back and forth into Nero a few times before ending it with a big charged slash. They could have added this for Vergils Mirage Edge Ultimate: Instead of the saw (which is still incredibly cool, but still) they could have let Vergil Charge like he does in the Boss Fight and instead of the Mirage Edge or Yamato he would actually use his ARM BLADES for this! He jumps up, spreads his wings and flys into the Enemys, cutting them with his Arm Blades while passing them, he does this back and forth a couple of times until he flies high up, summons the Mirage Edge in charged state and falls down to the ground, stabbing the Groudn with the Blade creating a giant blue explosion on impact!
That would have been soooo great =D

Whats the point of using judgement cut without activating sin devil trigger? It uses up all of the SDT bar. Comapritevly using it in SDT takes less than half. Does it do more damage or something? or is it just for cosmetic?

You mean for the just frame judgement cuts? Keep an eye on the sheath when you hold the button for a JC, as soon as it flashes, release. If the sheath starts sparking blue electricity, you've held it too long.

Touch of death (ToD) is a term used in in the FGC , rly missleading title for me :D i thought u would do crazy ToD combo
I believe when you are in SDT, you dun need concentration to be level 2, you simply consume 1/3 of your SDT gauge to execute all the super move regardless of concentration

Vergil yamato combo c has got to be one of the most useless and coolest moves and my #1 coolest move is hell on earth. I just dont know whats so cool about doing a massive hulk smash into the ground but its so cool!

Can't wait to play at 144hz with Turbo mode on PC (RTX is not much a concern for a fantastic action game like this apparently),
