Well, that would only have been possible in the first war, because they were all destroyed post OOTP, but many people wouldn't have done that because it's incredibly cruel and selfish. Anyone with any little bit of morality would have stayed and fought him, so many did, also I don't know what you're talking about with the second thing, because many people gave their lives fighting him in both wars. I've just found your channel and working my way through all your amazing videos! it's wonderful to finally watch someone view HP the same way I do! I remember seeing the time turner pumpkin patch scene in third movie, when I was 4 years old, on my parents tiny square tv. My mum never allowed me to watch hp until I will 11. When I rewatched this scene again I felt like I was having the strangest deja vu, just like harry and Hermione felt watching themselves. - I've just always thought that was a funny moment.
I have a suggestion: when you say words like "Walpurgis", you should flash them on the screen. It's easier for non native english speaker to know that you're using a HP made-up word
Walpurgis is not at all made up, and definetly much older than HP. The Walpurgisnacht, as it's called in German, or Walpurgis Night, is the night of the witches. It's held on the 30. of April into the night of May 1st, where it was believed that the witches hold a big feast with a large fire and descend from the mounntains. The night is named and dedicated to Walburga, an actual anglo-saxon missionary who evangelized in what is now germany. That was around the year 780. You should google it, the story is quite interesting actually :-) Walburga just gave the name to the Walpurgisnacht as she was celebrated that day. As you'd expect from a catholic saint, she's not considered a witch ;-) But religions like to imlement dates that the newly converted already use, makes it easier to integrate them ^^ The Satanic Temple actually celebrates the day today, remembering the victims of superstition and pseudoscience.
It would be great to know the sources for each “fact” you mentioned. Since they were only briefly covered, having a way to check the details would be really helpful.

This was a really fun video, I think a part 2 would be really cool. Love the content as always Morgan!!
10:17 "How do I get people to stop mocking me for naming a werewolf 'Remus Lupin'? Oh, I know!"
That was veryinteresting, Morgan. Thank you. Please do a second video.
You should google it, the story is quite interesting actually :-)
Walburga just gave the name to the Walpurgisnacht as she was celebrated that day. As you'd expect from a catholic saint, she's not considered a witch ;-) But religions like to imlement dates that the newly converted already use, makes it easier to integrate them ^^
The Satanic Temple actually celebrates the day today, remembering the victims of superstition and pseudoscience.
Definitely want a part 2 and 3 Please 🥰
It would be great to know the sources for each “fact” you mentioned. Since they were only briefly covered, having a way to check the details would be really helpful.
Such a fun video! I would LOVE more parts! Thanks so much!
Cool! I have read a lot of materials from WW, all 3 e-books, and some other articles, Lupin's story is one of the best, but Lockhart's chapter was also cool in terms of revelations ;-) I would love part 2!
7:52 it says that William the 1st conquered the invading Norman Army. But King William the first was in charge of that army and invaded England in 1066. After that point William was King of England and Duke of Normandy until his death. So, can somebody explain to me where this theory sits on the muggle time line?
I just went off what Rowling said...It wouldn't be the first time she got muggle history wrong when creating lore. Either way, she made it canon in the Wizarding World even if it doesn't make sense in the muggle world.
@@MovieFlame Ok Thanks
He goes deeper into the HP lore than English teachers
Lol
2:34 seeing that happen to umbridge would have been so fun.
17:24 I wouldn't put it past him to say that he probably invented the Unforgivable Curses, although that's just a theory.
First! I did not know of most of these but the scowlers were pretty cool. I wish there were more details about beauxbatons and Durmstrang in the books, they seemed really interesting. Like could you imagine a pen pal program between the three schools? Also I like how Rowling/Wizarding World relates the history of magic to human history, it’s super cool. Thanks for the great videos! I’d love more loreeeeeeeee
No lol
William 1 was a norman known as William the conqueror who defeated King Harold at the battle of Hastings and then after his death William II took over. Malfoy were actually Normans themselves from modern day France
I just say what JK Rowling says in canon 🤷🏻♂️ Wouldn't be surprised if she mixed up muggle history
@@MovieFlame I'm surprised too since it's English history 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
My favorite bit of history cuz William the Conqueror is my direct ancestor.
Your the only one I watch for harry potter content keep up with the good work
i always learn new things from your vids! would love to see part 2/3/4
Hey Morgan, can you make a video on Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire book? Love your vids, always listen to them when I’m bored! 🪄⚡️
Hey MovieFlame. Any update on your review for the rest of the Netflix Avatar episodes?
27: this reminds me that famous wizard, Gregory the Smarmy, who created a potion that convinces the drinker that the person who gave it is his best friend. He gave it to the king and lived in wealth. He was DEFINITELY a Slytherin 😂
The way you just quickly shifted to the sponsor was really impressive.
I wasn’t sure if it was a sponsor or if you’re going to start talking about Amortentia.
More!!! We need more facts, please😊
If you need a video idea for a later time, maybe you can react to Le maitre de la mort. It is a fan film about Voldemorts story before he attempted to kill on Harry. It is made by French people so it is in French, but TH-cam has english subtitles. I really loved it, so I thought that I would recommend it to you!
And with this I have officially watched every single one of movie-flames, Harry Potter videos
I didn’t know any of those! So cool!
💯 need a part 2‼️
Bro this was a really good video .... getting to know total random facts of the wizarding world..... make more parts of these videos in the future
I love his voice. It’s like
Music to my ears, especially with the ethereal ❤
❤❤❤
9:16
Hitching rides on flocks of oversized birds. ^^
At 9:50 the woman to his left is holding the wand of Salazar Slytherin. I'm not sure if thats intentional or just them reusing the design, but if anyone knows about it please tell me.
sometimes i just forget that the wizarding world is just a fantasy
I know you're not a gamer, but please consider making a video talking about the console video games based on the first 3 movies and the Quidditch world cup game. It could be about the adaption of the books/films. They deserve to be remembered.
Is there a video planned on every crazy thing Hermione ever did?
I think I didn't know a single one. i'm ready for part two!
Oh please do part 2 ❤ love this video
Yes!! Bring parts 2, 3, and 4, Morgan!! 🎉❤
I love this thank you !!! Just subscribed
Careful, the Carrows are also known to be able to destroy entire planets…… :-)
it's funny that some of these facts i already knew because i've been watching your videos, as well as Harry Potter Theory
