      Imran is a non judge mental muslim he accepts people as who they are and doesn't judge. He doesn't let his strict culture, traditions, society and honor take over him which is what a non judge mental muslim is meant to do.

      Those two deserve to been gone for good because they should not treat their children like that and I’m proud of Imran for standing up for Rana when they tried to abduct her which was very cruel

      They were gonna kill her. It’s called an honour killing when a woman shames the conservatives of any family in Pakistan, they kill the woman who has shamed the family so that the family has its “honour” again.

    So what rana is gay it doesn't matter. If they were real parents they wouldn't care who there daughter fell in love with. They would be supportive of all her decisions.

      Iloveprisonbreak forever speaking of religious fueds this is why they were so shocked at their son disowning them; if it were Rana they wouldnt care but because imran is a male and straight they really feel their loss. Really selfish

    This is a step in the right direction given that this bullshit with Phelan is continuing. It would be sweet if I didn't know about narrative structure and why this is so formulaic, but for those of you that don't know this stuff, I'm sure it tugs at your heart strings. This storyline is at least commendable for standing for something worth getting behind.

    • @Dano_116
      @Dano_116 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Surgé Land I find your lack of faith disturbing

    • @surgeland9084
      @surgeland9084 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Well, I would be inclined to agree with you, if it weren't for the fact that Phelan's storyline has been the same thing on repeat for over a year. He would have been a brilliant villain if they just killed him off when his storyline reached its natural ending: at Andy's hands with the brick. Now, it's a constant cycle of Pat being found out and getting away and because the characters "depth" is so forced and half-arsed, it's a chore to sit through.
      If you want to talk about Full Metal Alchemist, I'll oblige. It's one of few anime shows I can sit through. Though, I mostly mean Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. Anyway, I digress. That show could get away with keeping flat characters on because it knew where to put the focus: on the Elric brothers. If the show was about Wrath, let's say, it would be terrible. Wrath is just a soldier that know nothing outside of war, but by briefly hinting toward more than that in a select number of scenes, one can fill in the gaps.
      Likewise, Phelan, is nothing more than a control freak at his best. By trying to make him a family man and a father and a man with a heart all at once in contrived ways that were not properly planted before they were bolted on, they just make Phelan come across as even more flat because their pathetic efforts to find dimensions where there aren't any show even more. They also show that they have no respect for their audience as instead of presenting a multi-dimensional character, they just shove it down your throat both in and out of the show by paying off smutty talk shows and tabloids to sing their praises.

    • @Cyberbyte_010
      @Cyberbyte_010 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      yh i agree, corrie dropped of my radar for a year bc of all the phelan bs, only just got back on it bc of phelan's demise..... or so i thought.....

    • @surgeland9084
      @surgeland9084 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well that's just because Corrie's run by pandering corporate morons at the moment. The current model seems to be to throw as much shit at the wall and just see what sticks.
