I ordered this watch from desert cart but they cancelled the order and the support agent told me that they can't ship digital watches to India and only analog watches are allowed because of the guidelines. I am really disappointed. Do you have an update regarding the shipping guidelines?
This is very useful for civil engineers to perform on-site calculations. This watch can be useful in calculating the Pythagorean theorem or Pythagoras' theorem in the plan on the site.
I have a knockoff of this watch that's over 25 years old. It no longer works of course. How much did you pay for this? Desertcart just imports from the actual sellers and sells here with a markup AFAIK. Would be nice if you added the actual desertcart link you bought from.
That's exactly what they do but it depends on where the seller is. Some sellers in the US sell it cheaper like the Walmart clearance sales. I have found watches on desertcart that cost almost the same as they are in India. It's because at that same exact time Indian sellets arent offering discounts but sellers in US are and when the shipping and duties get added the total price amounts to the same ultimately. I will add the exact link now
My first ‘encounter’ with calculator watch was at a small watch shop and its price (as far as I remember) was under Rs 100 (Of course it was decades ago when I was at school). It was probably a fake Casio. I was so obsessed with it that I went to the shop several times and literally pleaded the owner to offer me at a lesser price and he would not relent. I finally gave up and my obsession too died down gradually.. My next encounter has been just a few weeks ago - with DBC 32D. When I was just about to pull the trigger, many reviews about the watch being too ‘plasticky’ and a kind of cheap looking dampened my interest. So, even after a few decades, my Casio Calculator watch count remains at “Zero” !
@@TickTockTreasures Well “akki maeloo aase nentru maeloo ista !” I’ve been a fountain pen collector with 70+ fountain pens (No., I don’t own the ultra expensive Mont Blancs yet) and also into motorcycles (own a Kawasaki, Triumph and a Karizma from 2 decades ago).. So I’m beginning to wonder if it’s advisable to ‘acquire’ Casio passion and go down the ‘Casio rabbit hole’ !! (Or just sit back, relax and enjoy your videos without getting tempted to open my wallet for the credit card) !
Imagine riding your triumph with a G-shock on? You don't have to collect something you don't need to. That's really cool about the fountain pens- I haven't heard of anyone collecting those.
@@TickTockTreasures My AE-1500 (and to some extent SGW 200 for which I paid the current G Shock price in 2011) is serving my Triumph and Kawasaki ‘watch requirements’. Just like how you didn’t know of fountain pen collectors, I wasn’t aware that there’d be Casio collectors ! There’s a decent Fountain pen community in India and hope there’s such Casio community too !
If it's sold in India then they always come with a serial number. If not then you can't have it registered. If you bought it in India the check with your seller
I loved hearing the story about your personal connection to this watch. It is honestly why I collect tings. Thank you for reminding me.
Thank you 🙏❤️
So nostalgic; I don't get to see people wear this that often.
This color variant is hard to come by these days especially in India

Dude didn't believe in love at first sight until he saw this watch on his friend's wrist.. 😛
:)
Awesome video I had that same experience when I got mine from Walmart a few years ago
Thank you.
Yeah, some watches get you in the feels. I'm happy you are happy with yours 😊
Great video. Greetings from Iowa. 👍🏼
Thank you, Alex. Say hello to Iowa for me...from Goa, India 🙂

I love casio, casio gshock & fossil watch
That's wonderful 😊
I have CA53W-1Z
I ordered this same watch from Amazon UK
People ask me where I got it from. My apple watch friends are jealous 😂
That's awesome!
Smart watch is for less smart people. We are smart people. We need the CA-53 only to add 2 and 2. We are smarter for all else 😁
A classmate at primary school had this. We always felt like he was cheating whenever we had to do a maths test lol
Hahaha...our friend was required to take it off before math and science exams 🤣
Casio DBC -32-1-ADF. Is the best version.
The build of that watch never appealed to me but...
I agree! I still have mine from when it first came out many years ago.
i never liked this casio even as a kid. my pops always bought me a timex and i loved it.
That's cool. Did you see the whole video or just the thumbnail? 😉
@@TickTockTreasures I just got halfway through to be honest. Not really interested in that particular Casio.
Hi. What is the difference between two watches WR logo like the one yours here and WR logo with frame on it, i saw somewhere... Thanks
I don't understand the second part of the comment
@@TickTockTreasures wr logo framed and wr logo unframed in the same model of this casio... why? Framed logo in new version maybe?

Can u please share it the store name or website
I have mentioned the website in the description just like I said I would in the video 🙂
Bro how to register warranty on this as there is no serial no. Engraved on the case back?

@@TickTockTreasures oh okay. But what about warranty then? This CA 53 you bought from desertcart comes with any warranty?
I saw this in hand of Walter white
Databank does the purpose but its not The Purpose 😅
😜
Bro please compare these two watch with a new video
They are the same watch except the display. On the color variants it's negative display and is highly illegible.
