Thanks for the video! Two things - back when this was released, I remember it had a fun little game where you had to scroll up to match numbers marching in from right to left. Any idea if that game is still on it? And second - does this watch SHOW both times at once ever? Or do you have to press the button to see each dual time? Thanks again!
Great video, can you also make the display brighter? My watch has a black background and sort of green digits, the diggets are not very good to read . not bright enough
Thank you for your kind comment. Unfortunately I do not think that the display can be made any brighter on a negative LCD displayed watch as in my experience it tends to be what you see is what you get. It may be worth checking out a few Casio forums to see if anyone has managed to achieve what you are after though mods etc. Sorry I can't be of any more help. Cheers, Tony - WTA
Can anyone share their experience with the waterproofing on this watch? I couldn’t find any videos or detailed information online. Is it reliable for daily showers, splashes, or riding in the rain?
Ha ha I don't think that it will survive 175ATM (if I have it correct what 175ATM is comparable to)! So it probably isn't as bullet proof as you would like it to be Cheers, Tony - WTA
At this moment in time my favourite Casio is the Casio W-86H. Not the most exciting I know but I do find it very comfortable to wear, easy to read the time from, great water resistance, fantastic backlight and very affordable to buy. This may change over the next 11 months as I am wearing a different daily driver Casio every month so ask me in about 11 months time and we will see what I think then. What is your favourite watch that you like to wear? Cheers, Tony - WTA
@@wetryanythingchannel I only own two. This calculator watch and my Timex expedition scout. I prefer the analog display of the Timex. I really want the Timex LCA as it’s both digital with a a digital analog display but it has a terrible backlight and I think the strap may be a hair puller. Also overpriced with those two things considered. Casio has a similar thing but the Timex looks dope.
Best tutorial on this watch on all of TH-cam. The date trick was amazing and much appreciated
Wow, thanks! I hope it was of some help to you!

Bro how change the day..like Saturday Sunday Monday..
Does it light up at night?
Unfortunately no. There is no backlight for all the CA53 models.
Unfortunately, it doesn't as there is no backlight to the Casio CA-53W.

My hand is not waterproof 😂
As a delivery driver in a rainy locale who doesn't take his watch off to shower, I've had zero issues.
Is this bulletproof? Can this survive 175 atmospheric pressure?
Ha ha I don't think that it will survive 175ATM (if I have it correct what 175ATM is comparable to)! So it probably isn't as bullet proof as you would like it to be

@@wetryanythingchannel Aww, was thinking on going to 1/10 the depth of the Mariana Trench with my DeLorean.
is there any way to turn off/stop the dual time function?
Nope

I have it
No backlight inside this thing?
Unfortunately, from what I can see there is no backlight feature that I know of on the Casio CA-53W.

@@wetryanythingchannel I can hear them saying use your mobile light to see the time on the digital watch!
I wanted to have this watch but I ended up having the ae1000w
