Having to pay for internet on a business class seat always boggles my mind. People are paying $3-$5,000 for this seat, and you're going to make us pay $18 for internet?? That is BS! Why is it not included in that insanely high ticket cost?! Everything else is 😂

Shaun’s list - funny long…and how Sherwin was impressed too. Totally agree about the colorful buffet decoration called unripe fruit. Speaking of lines, what about the security lines at the gate, especially when you maximize your time in the lounge and you’re feeling so good from the shower and overeating, ready to sit in a comfy seat for 12 hours and for your 5th glass of something, only to have to stand in the fluorescent lit hallway area in a very long line? I’m looking at you Changi.

How is it Sean "likes to have his own room" but then also "hates when they charge extra for a 3rd or 4th person in the same room." One of these should not bother you 😂

I didn't know how cray cray Shaun was. LOL JK. You'd definitely wouldn't like traveling with me since I'm such a messy traveller with everything exploding out of my suitcase. My rule of thumb is always tip housekeeping. Even if it is only for like $3 a day. And if you don't have money at least learn to say hello every day to them in their own language. They are the least paid staff in the hotel (I've worked in one for 5 years as a front desk / night auditor staff) and they can help you when you need things. They are always appreciative and can really make your stay pleasant. I also hate the skipping housekeeping service because that just is an excuse to have less staff and save money. So please tip the housekeepers because their hours have been cut and now have to survive on less. They also have to deal with some really fu people and the things they do in those hotel rooms that have to be cleaned up by the staff. My rant would be crazy hotel guests that treat staff like dirt. Kindness, respect and human decency should be everyone's motto.

the recliner thing is so BS. I sat in front of a guy who weight 300lbs and he kept shaking my seat with his arm, knocking on the seat etc to annoy the hell out of me. I asked him nicely so i can recline. BUT NO he keep turning me seat up straight with his brute strength. So i couldnt even lean on a 17hr flight. So I asked the flight attendant to move me, good thing she moved me into a business class seat mid flight.

Frankfurt's Lufthansa first class terminal has a separate security and immigration line because it's an entirely separate building. Other flag carriers could replicate this at their hubs if they throw enough money at it. Also, if you go to the extreme end of travel you will be required to share a room with a stranger of the same gender in a hotel in small Arctic settlements that have limited number of rooms.

Ya'll are gunna hate me, but I do not tip regularly for these services. Baggage, housekeeping, ect I will only tip if I happen to have extra money on my person and they did a particularly great job. Their services, experience, punctuality are baked into the rate of the hotel room and brand of the chain.

I would rather not go on vacation than to share a room. Preach brother.

I booked a United flight SFO to Amsterdam using avianca for 63k but woulda been 80k directly with United; given that avianca cancel fee is $200 I sorta wish I’d just booked directly

Not sure about the fruit fly rant but the mini-bar and valet rants were spot on. First time I stayed in a Waldorf Astoria I literally forgot that hotels charged anything, let alone such crazy prices, for run of the mill items at mini bars. I then woke up in the middle of the night thinking, “Holy crap, how much did that crappy bottle of wine and a Kit Kat just cost me?? So much for my free stay on points…”. And the valet parking-grrr. Just let me get my own damn car!
