is your sendak damp to the touch as well, at least that's what it feels like. does it go away? please, i would be so grateful if someone was honest about this.

They feel a bit "damp" at first due to the waxed canvas (a bit like a wax jacket does!), but mine feels much more dry now. Just keep using it and let it age. :)
