As a musician myself, I saw that exact surprise/reaction face when you see shakey just own the whole song by himself. Doesn’t matter how good we can be at 1 instrument, we all wish we were the band, composition, and master.. he is as close to perfect one man band as you can get.

No doubt! This was such a unique performance!
Suitcase drums (a kickdrum mounted into a hardshell suitcase) have a long history. Very "old timey." What is nice about this song and Shakey Graves is that he never does it exactly the same, sometimes it is entirely different from this version.

He plays with a band now, but his older stuff is all over YT... he has incredible range, and mixes genres so that he ends up with his own style.
