This is the gold part of the TH-cam...people like this deserve way more attention. The amount of talent and all the hard work you put in videos like this one is just over the top. Much respect Jordan, keep up the good work !
It is so freakin' amazing that you can play so many different instruments and put them together like this to from your own little orchestra! Good job! (Btw, Princess Mononoke is one of my favorite films). MORE!
Next... Stringed Instruments (Harp, piano, zither, etc.) and not-so-stringed...(Pan flute, Kalimba, Nose Harp, Harmonica, Glass Harmonica, Tin boom, etc.) Great job on what you've done, so far!
777 likes! A lucky number, so I don't want to ruin it. Very beautiful music. You must have put a huge amount of effort into being a one man band with SO many instruments, not just the usual woodwind and brass (which is impressive enough to be played all by one person!) but also a variety of ocarinas and half a tuned a percussion section! It's truly amazing what you've accomplished as just one person with a lot of patience, and a huge amount of skill to play a broad variety of instruments competently like this!
As a percussionist, I freaked out a bit when I saw the vibes at the beginning 😁 I'm glad that you're spending the time to learn all these instruments!!
This is spectacular -- should we be most amazed at the sheer number of instruments you can play, the wonderful arrangement you put together, or the excellence in which you played each part? "Mononoke Hime" is one of my favorite pieces, and this made my day. I can't imagine how long it took to make this video...
this is lit man. I can't believe that something of this quality can be produced by one person. You're a hot commodity my friend, and a studio's best friend one day.
Shit dude, I just got done watching all your videos and you are fantastic. I'm going off to college in a few weeks to study music education as well and you're a big inspiration. Keep it up friend
This is amazing! Great job... I'm currently trying to learn how to play wind instruments and seeing you playing so many, and so beautifully, is very inspiring :) thank you for sharing your music :)
Wow, I gotta thank your high school's band for letting them lend their instruments to you. Without them we wouldn't have such wonderful arrangements :D
Wooooah, what a nice arrangement you did here! Mononoke Hime is one of my faves from Ghibli (if not my favorite one ever), and the soundtrack is so beautiful and unique. You did a great job at arranging and bringing the feel of the original song, sounds really beautiful and I'm truly amazed. Keep up with the awesome work! You just got a new fan, and I hope to see more of your covers soon
Wow I'm blown away! 30 parts?! Princess mononoke is one of my favorite movies of all time and Mononoke Hime for sure is one of my favorites along with Legend of Ashitaka. I'm so glad I found your channel from watching your LOK Greatest Change arrangement. Please make an arrangement of Howl's Moving Castle (Merry Go Round of Life) or maybe a Studio Ghibli medley!
Thank you! And I absolutely love Eastman. It's a great school and the community is very welcoming. It's competitive in a supportive way rather than a cut-throat way which was a big plus in my decision to go there. That being said, I highly recommend auditioning there. What do you play?
Sure thing. I record my video with a Canon T3i and I record my audio with an AT2020 USB model. I record the audio into the program Audacity, which is free. Then, I export it and do the rest of the editing in Vegas Movie Studio. That includes mixing, syncing, etc.
Thanks! I don't unfortunately, but I'd be happy to send you the finale files if you or someone you know would be willing to rearrange it. I don't have to time to do that myself at the moment.
I am going to college for euphonium performance and music education. Unfortunately, euphoniums aren't typically in orchestras, so I would have to join a military band if I wanted to perform in a professional ensemble, and I'm frankly not too interested in that. But I am planning on teaching when I graduate!
The flute, piccolo, oboe, and my clarinet (not in this video because I wanted to use a friend's "better" clarinet) were all bought from either local dealers, craigslist, or amazon for pretty cheap. Same with my sax (currently broken). The trumpet and french horn were birthday/christmas presents. And my parents and I split the cost of the euphonium and trombone because they were necessary for college. My ocarinas come from various makers: Songbird Ocarina, Rotter Ocarinas, Noble Ocarinas, Claudio Colombo, STL Ocarina, Casper Ocarina, and Dinda Ocarina.
Piccolo: Sky (some knock-off) Flute: Gemeinhardt Oboe: La Margue Clarinet: Bundy Sax: King Bassoon: Kohlert Trumpet: King Horn: Holton Trombone: Conn Euphonium: Yamaha Only the brass instruments I have are intermediate - professional instruments.
It really depends on the instrument. Any euphonium player could play trumpet or tuba because the fingerings are the same, it's just a matter of getting used to the different ranges and different sized mouthpieces. French horn and trombone are a little more tedious to learn, but still not too bad coming from another brass instrument. I'd say any brass player could become decent on another brass instrument with just a week of practice. Woodwinds are the same way. Once you learn one, all of the others become much easier to learn, but flute is still the hardest to learn because it's much more complicated to simply get a sound out of it. And percussion instruments are mostly about learning the correct technique. Certain ones like snare drum and timpani will still require significant practice.
This is plain AWESOME! You play these instruments so well, and bring them together to be a huge orchestra! Your "Greatest changes" was beautifully done, and so is this piece of "Mononoke", one of my favorite anime in regard of story and music. Well done, keep up the good work! :)
This is incredible dude, never seen a one-man concert band quite like this before.
you gotta watch his lugia's song cover
You are a frakking prodigy! I can’t even begin to express how amazed I am!
Only 12k views? You are playing a music that touches my heart and reminds me of the light we all have inside.
This is the gold part of the TH-cam...people like this deserve way more attention. The amount of talent and all the hard work you put in videos like this one is just over the top. Much respect Jordan, keep up the good work !
I have an idea. Cloning. Just clone yourself and become an entire orchestra.
Or have that power of one of the x-men who can multiply himself. :D
Looks like he did a pretty good job of "cloning". :)
It is so freakin' amazing that you can play so many different instruments and put them together like this to from your own little orchestra! Good job! (Btw, Princess Mononoke is one of my favorite films). MORE!

I'm sure if someone gives you violin too, you would be able to play that perfectly the next day. Beyond unbelievable!
That’s great!
Okay this is absolutely insanely good
Thank you!
As a percussionist, I freaked out a bit when I saw the vibes at the beginning 😁 I'm glad that you're spending the time to learn all these instruments!!
Wow, an actual multi-instrumentalist! That's amazing!
This is spectacular -- should we be most amazed at the sheer number of instruments you can play, the wonderful arrangement you put together, or the excellence in which you played each part? "Mononoke Hime" is one of my favorite pieces, and this made my day. I can't imagine how long it took to make this video...
Very grande! You are really super talented musician! ❤️ I'll rate this cover 1000000000/10

Beautiful. Simply beautiful.
The editing is as beautiful as the melody itself. This is the type of editing you should continue using.
This is truly an amazing piece of work. Well done!
omg, i can't even think how much went into making and editing this vídeo , good job Jordan, keep the good work
Shit dude, I just got done watching all your videos and you are fantastic. I'm going off to college in a few weeks to study music education as well and you're a big inspiration. Keep it up friend

Hey, awesome video! How do you like it at Eastman? I'm thinking of auditioning there when the time comes around.
Thank you! And I absolutely love Eastman. It's a great school and the community is very welcoming. It's competitive in a supportive way rather than a cut-throat way which was a big plus in my decision to go there. That being said, I highly recommend auditioning there. What do you play?

HOW CAN PEOPLE DISLIKE THIS
My new goal in life is to become you.
I want to create one of these but not sure what to use to record. Can you tell me what you used
Sure thing. I record my video with a Canon T3i and I record my audio with an AT2020 USB model. I record the audio into the program Audacity, which is free. Then, I export it and do the rest of the editing in Vegas Movie Studio. That includes mixing, syncing, etc.
What a guy.
Bro do you live in Michigan? That band room looks familiar
Nice! Do u have an arrangement of this with trumpets? If u do, could i let my band play it please?
Thanks! I don't unfortunately, but I'd be happy to send you the finale files if you or someone you know would be willing to rearrange it. I don't have to time to do that myself at the moment.

What are you going to college for? I think you should definitely audition for a symphony orchestra.
I am going to college for euphonium performance and music education. Awesome! Also how did you manage to get all those instruments? And Where did you get your ocarinas

That is awesome man! I'm so jealous. I'm gonna ask you one more question. What brand are all of your instruments?
Piccolo: Sky (some knock-off)
Flute: Gemeinhardt
Oboe: La Margue
Clarinet: Bundy
Sax: King
Bassoon: Kohlert
Trumpet: King
Horn: Holton
Trombone: Conn
Euphonium: Yamaha
Only the brass instruments I have are intermediate - professional instruments.

Did you study at Eastman?
I'm currently a junior at Eastman! I'm studying euphonium performance and music ed.
Congrats! If you want to do a collab sometime tell us. One sus more! :)
Do Mechagodzilla 2 Theme
OMG
Are you planning to study to be a composer?
This is plain AWESOME! You play these instruments so well, and bring them together to be a huge orchestra! Your "Greatest changes" was beautifully done, and so is this piece of "Mononoke", one of my favorite anime in regard of story and music. Well done, keep up the good work! :)
Thanks so much, I’m glad you’ve enjoyed those videos!
Nice Hacks
This is what you do when you have too much talent and too less orchestra. Awesome cover, man!
sounds like the czech republics version
Thank you, that's the version that I transcribed this arrangement from!
Awesome!!!
