This is just such a great podcast for so many reasons. Such a great blend of wholesome and kind of raunchy stuff. These guys are aging gracefully by being humble and self aware but also staying active and full of passion and energy. Couple of absolute living legends.
Ellis thank you for coming out and being yourself, my best friend from grade school came out to me bc of you and BA coming out, you show people that it's OK to be yourself. Thank you for being a rad person.
I love this podcast. Each podcast i listen to is routine and during certain part of my day. Hawk and Wolf usually drops in the morning and i listen while I skate home from work. Its perfect 💯 and I love how genuinely happy and excited Jason gets when Tony tells him somethin like the Metallica thing. We all need a friend like him
Oh my gosh I can’t think you guys enough. I have really bad acne scars and I was listening to Jason talk about skin cell treatment. I was thinking maybe that could help with my acne scars. I don’t want to get into how growing up I had really good confidence had close friendships this and that. No problem talking to girls. But ever since I had really bad acne it really changed every thing. So I did some research on the stem cell treatment and it is really effective with acne scars! I am so stoked can’t think you guys enough. Love the show. Was a fellow skateboarder back in the day and you guys are just good people. Thank you guys so much going to start saving up money to see how much this treatment will cost and get back to my old self again if I even know what that is. Well enough of me talking and talking. Love you guys take care
There’s also resurfacing treatments without traveling to Columbia. I would love to get stem cells too but I can’t imagine being able to afford the trip plus the treatment plus the week.
You guys rock. You even each other out with all segments of society with your discussions. Stop social media and live your lives. Be strong but stay humble and kind. Let the others fuck right off.
Dude! Questions for Jimmy: Are there being new tricks invented on vert? What's your favorite skater? Biggest influence, in and outside of Skateboarding?
I saw that cover of Police Truck Tony! Was so sick, you killed it. Always surprises me when I see Tony do cover vocals and he totally kills it lol. In the best way. I highly recommend everyone search on YT for "Police Truck cover Tony Hawk"
I love these stories. Honestly, I wouldn't care if you guys never had guests. However, I will try to think of something to ask Jimmy Wilkins--most definitely one the best if not THE best vert skater out there.
From Trey Budd in Morehead City NC- I think it would be cool if you asked Jimmy Wilkins about what/who his inspirations are in terms of the way he skates vert. His extreme lip trick technicality really blows me away along with his just unreal frontside ollies. Also where does he want to take his skateboarding in the future in terms of progression?
Ask Jimmy Wilkins Q&A His thoughts on being the Tony Hawk of his generation and where does very go from here? Trick innovations? Ramp variations? New tour ideas? Where does he get his inspiration from? Does he think that he contributes enough regarding raising verts international awareness for building inside ramps etc. How does he name tricks? How and why?
Jason, don’t let Tony make you feel bad. I love the way you read it makes me very happy something to do with your facial expressions while you’re reading them and the pauses. It mostly sounds sarcastic. It’s my favorite part of commercials. I would forward past them if it weren’t for your unique reading style
Hi Tony and Jase Cakes i love you two. my lil weener dog died and im very sad but you two make me happy. Every skater has injuries atleast Tony has you have your own skatepark aand you dont have to hurt your foot breaking in.
That Brazil story is terrifying. Got poisoned by the waiters, then can’t skate and get lit up by the crowd, taken to some apartment where some random dude without sterile needles gave you unknown injections that gave you lockjaw???? Fuxk man that’s awful. Edit: then Ellis Costa Rica story? I would not love getting driven into the woods for hours. Then he got drunk and talked to the spider omg 😂
First arena show Metallica Justice /Damage tour, have fun Tony and congrats!! Cheers and Happy Holidays Boys!! Question for Jimmy, What was the best trick he has done or seen on the over vert at Ollies' ?
Another banger ep!🤘 Kierle Park vert ramp in Manly, (Syd) was also apparently built upside down! It was the whippy-est, and steepest vert ramp I ever rode, and the coping stuck out like 2 inches!😅 Also right next to Manly lagoon too! Coincidentally!!
Jason don't sweat it about Lars, he's just mad bc he's been a professional drummer for like 40yrs and still has zero concept of tempo.. which is pretty important for a drummer.
Ask Jimmy if he ever does inverts or andrechts!! I only see him do eggs (such good ones) and would love to see some- Also frontside sugars and lips, I know he’s got them but only see the backside ones!!🔥
Wasn't the Aussie ramp with the wrong transition placement Keirle Park in Manly? Mick Mulhall could confirm? Failing that Pizzey Park was concrete and Manly was wooden so that could help work it out too?
Not for nothing but these pods should have at least a quarter of a million views on each one, Tony has almost 8 million followers on Ig alone. Why doesn't he ever promo the podcast?
Love this podcast - just wish it was longer and more about skating haha. The motorcycle license question is just like.. come on man. The funny thing is that Jason remembers the question so vividly and still doesn't even know the answer. "If it is the front tire that has blown, shift your weight as far back as you can. If it is the rear tire, stay where you are." That is usually the answer, that's what it was when I was given the test. It is also pretty much common sense like Tony stated since none of the other answers usually make sense (its multiple choice or true+false answers only). They also may ask you what to do if you get a blowout (in general and not specify) in which case the answer is to just ease off the throttle and coast to a stop (no braking). It would be pretty straightforward and easy to pass if you just studied for it. They also offer courses where you sit in a class, they teach you every single thing they'll test you on, then give you the test - before proceeding to the driving part of the test. Gunna call fibs that you 'passed all other parts' considering they don't let you ride if you haven't proven competent on the written test. Maybe things were vastly different whenever this story takes place.
Doug from Jax.Fl.were the oldest skate park in the U.S. KONA skate park.Sweet show Tony is the OG and Jason ,what company are you skating for? It's like 5 skate companies that have your name? Great things guys!!
This is just such a great podcast for so many reasons. Such a great blend of wholesome and kind of raunchy stuff. These guys are aging gracefully by being humble and self aware but also staying active and full of passion and energy. Couple of absolute living legends.
I love these chats, you guys have lived some epic moments in skateboarding history. Much love
Ellis thank you for coming out and being yourself, my best friend from grade school came out to me bc of you and BA coming out, you show people that it's OK to be yourself. Thank you for being a rad person.

You guy are seriously the best and every time I see a new episode is posted I get stoked! One love from Canada
Is your maple syrup reserve full?
yeah, those stories are golden
It's crazy how much I relate to the non-skate discussion every week. This time it's my LASIK surgery. Same story as Tony.
Jason Ellis being excited for Tony being honored by Metallica was the best part of the podcast lol
Yeah, he's just like a (big) kid being super stoked and happy for him. Good on ya mate!
Yeah sick!! @ 21:00
Real homies being stoked for eachother, gotta love it
I live 5 minutes from Pizzey, the new bowl is good but the old one is still there waiting for you guys.. and I have a spare room 😂😂😂
Love you Tony and Jason!! Best pod in the world! Ill be here till the end! ❤❤❤
I love you guys. From Coastal North Carolina.
I love Jason's DMV story. Once again you guys have hit it out of the park.
I'm convinced that Manscaped is colluding to make these ads as difficult and dad-jokey as possible, just to toy with our boys!
Makes the ad more memorable
Mm...that's good collusion!
I’m considering buying one just out of respect for Jason
Great podcast I always listen to it at work
I enjoy seeing Jason's reading skills improving. He's not nearly as bad as he makes it seem.
Oh my gosh I can’t think you guys enough. I have really bad acne scars and I was listening to Jason talk about skin cell treatment. I was thinking maybe that could help with my acne scars. Jimmy, street reverts? Or just 180?
Shoutout Robert Trujillo and Infectious Grooves! 🎸
Tony wiping his nose with the sleeve of his Vivienne Westwood hoody is pure skateboarding.

Jason doing the ad read reminds me of me and my homies in school reading in front of the whole clases 😂
what timing. Pantera is back on tour! :D
It’s not pantera without dime and Vinny.
No coincidence... they're all over social media recently because of the tour so everybody is now paying more attention
@@Jay-wk9xj okay 👍.
Listening to Jason read is hilarious
That Brazil story is terrifying. Got poisoned by the waiters, then can’t skate and get lit up by the crowd, taken to some apartment where some random dude without sterile needles gave you unknown injections that gave you lockjaw???? Fuxk man that’s awful.

Tony singing at Metallica concert -"SACRED TRUTH!!!"
Wasn't the Aussie ramp with the wrong transition placement Keirle Park in Manly? Mick Mulhall could confirm? Failing that Pizzey Park was concrete and Manly was wooden so that could help work it out too?
You guys should get Adam Luxford on the show? Be great to hear his tales of heading to the USA when he did and how Australia compared then (and now)?
Hello hello from Des Moines Iowa

This random dude has this awesome story of the time Tony fuc**** Hawk sleep in his home and nobody believes him!
Ohhh my god who's behind me I can't turn around 🤣🤣🤣
I liked and described.
Should have had Jimmy on the show, the chaos of setting it up would be so typical of skaters
Jason f those people you are the shit have done so much in life skating everything. They are in their moms couch hating on you hahahaha
I feel like billy Madison listening to Ellis read ads 😂
I could listen to Jason read all night long…. Lol
7:50 I agree entirely they kinda troll really hard
Mike Tyson and Jason should colab a Manscape commercial!
Man, if I had a nickel for every time “the thing is” 🤣 WTF even is that?! ❤️🤘
Not for nothing but these pods should have at least a quarter of a million views on each one, Tony has almost 8 million followers on Ig alone. Why doesn't he ever promo the podcast?
Man if either of you wanna skate at the Sprinker skatepark in spanaway it would be legendary to have you crash at the house
I think you are talking about the track before Walk
Hilarious!!
Ask Jimmy Wilkins "how was it being teammates with Tony while riding for LAKAI?"
love it
Lmao to the 07:01
Love these guys so much 😂😂
Ask Jimmy Wilkins about his learning process for Ollie 540s
