Your enthusiasm is infectious and it's awesome to see a puzzle maker getting excited by other puzzles. And you certainly know how to build tension, leaving the correct area till last 😂
We had so much fun watching you do this puzzle! Honestly, probably a little more fun watching you than we did solving it ourselves. I suspected a magnet but couldn't find it! I didn't search the edges well like you did. I actually thought room 15 was the one. The lower right corner. So we've already torn out the interior of that room. Oops. Super close to door 24! Now I want to know about the last unmarked door!
Hopefully the epilogue involves Santa getting a Kindle and a cloud storage account so that he doesn't have to go through this rigmarole every year, he'll have an e-copy of his book.
Thanks for that - we found the magnet but couldn't find the message even after destroying quite a bit of the room and then reading all the clues (which did at least tell what the message was)!
I had 100% failure on this one. My wife had to tell me what to do with the pendulum. Then when I found the magnet, I pulled it out and spent 5 minutes wondering what to do with it and the paper under the ceiling, which I thought was the next clue. Which, of course, it wasn’t. Then my wife checked the hints and told me where that actual next clue was, I completely misunderstood it and was tearing out the right-hand wall of the room. Then, after again my wife told me where to look, I took the “nothing to see here” at face value… Yeah, felt like an idiot every step of the way on this one.
To be fair, if you don't think of the magnet as a possibility (and there is no direct clue for it!) then I can imagine you were far from the only person to be completely stuck! And I do actually agree the message is a bit confusing - I was expecting an explicit warning along the lines of 'DO NOT OPEN' or some such, which would have matched the clue a bit better. In fact I'm not sure 'Nothing to see here' works too well - it's funny, for sure, but it does confuse the puzzle unnecessarily.

Love it. This was an exciting day. I swung that pendulum for almost 15 minutes until I found it. I kept channelling Calculus from Tintin lol
That's dedication! You must have been really sure you were correct, so well done! :)
I love this phishical puzzle makes you feel like a detective finding clues and descovering some thing that has litterly been hidden from your sight
I love this kind of puzzle too - incredibly satisfying once you discover something that's completely unexpected!

That was unlucky! I was so sure there would be something inside the package that contained the magnet, but nope! :)
Now that was cool!
