I don't know if you'll read this or not. But I have to say that you are really an outgoing person and your engagement and enthusiasm in watercolor painting is definitely catching, I've been drawing for two months, learning mostly what is concerning characters and people. I've been in a slump for a week, and now I really want to have a go at scenery and environments. Thanks Matthew :)

LOVE the dry brush lifting technique to add highlights to the hills at about 7:58, very nice!
Great painting. I liked how you used paper towels and water and bold it up and created clouds, instead of using your paintbrush. Keep it up. 👍😃

Thank you Matthew for the watercolour tips instructions...just one question - since I already have enough pigments for now, would you please give me the equivalents to the colours you mention to make the grey? I have Cobalt Blue, Ultramarine Blue, Cerulean Blue, Pthalo Blue and Prussian Blue. I have aureolin, Lemon Yellow, Cad Yellow, Yellow Ochre. Thanks

Payne's Greys are different in different brands so how can you pass judgement on it?
My clouds were a bit wonky It is as if the paint had already soaked in too much to the paper. Was it not wet enough, or just bad paper?

Were can I get natural Blue?
I was really enjoying your tutorial but got slightly annoyed when you criticised payne`s grey in this lesson and yet in your beginners lesson, you told us students to use it. I know you obviously want to promote your own brand of paints, but why recommend it in the first place ?
Very Nice Matthew, and keeping it simple - I've tried & wondered how to make clouds look realistic. I love your technique & way of teaching. Also, you've given me hope.
