I did this and omg they hung so nicely and looked so neat and uniform. Definitely sets the tone and foundation for your loc growth especially if you do this during the starter loc phase
OMG! I’m so happy to finally find someone that feels the same way I do about my frizzy ends!🤗 I literally have being cutting them off for the past 2 days. I also cut off some of the bulbs on the ends of my locs too because I don’t like how it looks. So yes, I would say it’s definitely a personal preference! August will be my 2yr loc-a-versary and my locs are flourishing! Your locs are beautiful as well!❤❤
I am 21 months into my microlcc journey. I had some locs in the front that had straight ends. I asked my loctician about it. She said don't worry about it. Couple of months later I cut those straight ends off. I do have some short locs now but that's fine. I also think that doing that little trim helped to loc the ends .
I just cut my microlocs to a bob, I so don't mind cutting, but I feel your trim will lead to more need to trim later and thin ends because you are removing bulk at the ends. I think you should have used a very small crochet tool on those ends to pull the loose hair into a mature bud. But again it's just hair.. do you. BTW I love you bob cut video. I did it and it is cut and makes me feel I have more "style" not just length. Try that crochet tool... it's a game changer
I’m so on board with trimming my scraggly ends off. I’m almost 4 months loc’d, and I find that getting rids of those ends helps my locs from growing together, and the finish is so much better.

Do the same minus the heat❤

How many locs do you have?
I'm not sure. I have over 400, possibly close to 500!
