such a sweet and kind man.... we have racoons even in the city... its very tough for them since the greenery is always broken up by huge patches of concrete, walls and fences. i actually came here to utube to find what an angry racoon sounds like..literally abt an hr ago im sleeping and heard that deep harking, kind of almost growl on the inhale...at least thts what it sounded like to me... i went out and saw fresh tracks...

I love the close up of him in camera who's chuzzle is that his name,on my!!! Cats love to do that try leaving a roll of toilet paper on the holder they love to unroll that 😁

I think because they are smaller they have to fight with their sibling to get in their and nurse so I have found that almost always the runts are more territorial over their food and the pushiest of the bunch. My grandparents fed raccoons and I have done it my whole life no matter where I lived. Even a 3rd floor walkup in the city, they find me. In US you do have to watch for diseases and I have seen rabid raccoons a few times, tho not often. The babies are pretty fearless and will climb all over me but I have to start to nix it when they get better because they do get aggressive in the fall. They get almost panicked about making sure they get enough food to fatten up & survive the winter. They start pulling in my clothes, my hair, anything to try to get the food in my hands out of my hands. Then it mellows down by early winter. But in spring when the babies are first brought to house is awesome.

Sadly, the mother of the three babies isn't around. Currently, they're about the size of the babies in Jim's video. We first discovered them alone at least over a month ago. We've been feeding them nightly to help supplement their foraging diets.

Luckily all my Racoons are nice to each other. it's the baby skunks that are occasionally a bully.
