Would be great to see a comparison between this and the Fisher Gold Bug Duece!!! Awesome review sir, I am try to decide between this, Gold Bug 2 and Makro Gold Kruzer. Cheers to you sir
Used them all but the GPX GPZ stuff from Minelab...I would personally get the Gold Kruzer. As sensitive as all the rest - built tough - waterproof - decent price.
@@thehuntergt thank you for the input sir, this will be my first time purchasing a prospecting detector as I am new to the craft. I've watched a lot of videos regarding different prospecting models of detectors and have considered their price points. I think I've made my mind upon the Kruzer, I like it. Does a mighty comparison to other gold detectors, without breaking the bank, and the wife won't be too upset, its an investment!!! And not as expensive as the higher end Minelabs, maybe some day I ll consider one, as for now, I think the Kruzer will be a suitable mate for a journey or two. Thank you for the review, was very thorough and had the info I needed. I liked and subscribed to "yer" channel, and cheers from your fans from the Pacific Northwest 😀 👍
Hello! May i ask you ,is it possible to use Nokta Makro AU Gold Finder detector for gold jewelry ithems or old gold coins and beach search ? Best regards, Sergi.
First time ever seeing this machine! Gets that tiny piece good at slow sweep!! Wild looking machine but it hits the gold good!... That disc fast its killin it!.. Hh bro
Yeah it is a pretty neat one. Few videos here and there on it but not much. Does as well as the Gold Kruzer on the small stuff...just not as well on the big stuff.
Both are comparable...it would be splitting hairs. If you want automatic - get the 2000 as this is all manual. They no longer make this model anyways...so get the 2000.
TheHunterGT I don’t even prospect nor do I think I even have any possible locations but I just don’t think I could get that level quality of a true prospecting detector for that price with 2 coils
TheHunterGT reminds me of the old fisher units built like a tank like you said the new fisher gold bug is light weight but I don’t think that translates over to “rugged” that gold finder looks like it would last a lifetime
hi sir. good night, i want a buy gold detector but i cant decide if gold monster or this gold au finder. can you please help me to decide making some air tests measuring in inches whit some nuggets of 0.5, 0.7, 1 gran. that really gona make me decide. i check from gold monster already but i need to check this option gold au finder. thanks!
You helped make me a Teknetics fan and now your touting foreign...shucks..I would like to see more folks going American made. Just my 2 cents.. Thanks.....
Most folks are not interested in buying 10 year old tech at marked up prices. When Teknetics (or any US manufacturer) can release a detector with the price - performance - build quality of NoktaMakro...I will be happy to review it.
@@thehuntergt I'm no pro but I bought a Simplex when they first came out and was not impressed. I then bought a Nox 600..after a month or two I decided I liked and was more successful with the Eurotec Pro and my T2. Just monkey see monkey do on a lot of these new detectors AFAIC......Thanks..
@@thehuntergt Yep, it's long past time they got of their 'laurels' and produced something innovative and 'ground-breaking'. FTP seem to have stagnated from the company we once knew and paid attention to.

Just this old guys opinion. I sold the Simplex and the NOX pretty pronto I didn't feel neither were near the machine the Eurotec Pro and the T2 is. No argument or disrespect to others findings.....
Great and thorough review as usual. I like the way you changes settings and test it so we can see the differences. thanks
Appreciate that Mike...thanks for watching.

Fantastic review thank you John.
My pleasure. Glad you enjoyed it.
Hi, I am Mario from Italy, in your opinion this au gold finder compared with the gold kruzer and gold 2000 finder with is deeper?
Hi Mario. The Kruzer and Finder are a bit deeper - faster on speed - and better separation. Just slightly.
Hope someday have this machine, very nice here in my place.
Very good review John. When you were about to switch it on, I thought, " AUUUUOOOOOOOoooo..... Ron". Thankfully, that didn't happen lol.
Thanks Tim...that is the custom mod that can be installed lol
@@thehuntergt npmslol. HA! HAAA!!! fair play, that was funny.
Hi
I want to search for metals and gold in a mountainous land, does this device work for me or do you recommend another type?
Great review I love these! Finally figured out how to get you as a featured channel!
Very kind of you! Thanks alot man.
this detector looks beastly...Happy Hunting
Seems to be a winner for sure. Thanks for watching Dan!
that control box does look SOLID, would hate to drop that on my foot. what does it weight about 3 lbs?
3.3 to be exact. Ergonomics are pretty good though. That coil is very light.
Hi!how can i purchase it,how many times to search in amazon but it doesnt cameout?

Yes for sure. Just make sure it is ground balanced properly.

What’s better for the gold field? This machine!
Or the makro . Goldfinder 2000 .

Thanks Nick!
is it good for tressure hunt?
Did you use this machine in the goldfields?
Not this one - no.
@@thehuntergt I have had one for a number of years, and it is really good on small stuff ,I mean tiny,I only use the five inch dd coil.
You know hunter I saw this unit on sale through kellyco for 499 with 2 coils and I wanted to jump on it because I know that’s a bargain
Yeah that is a pretty good deal honestly. They are below MAP price by quite a bit....must have something special going with NoktaMakro for it.

Awesome 👌 job!! Looks like a great detector!!!!!
Thanks!
If I was prospecting I would buy the gold finder over minelab or whites any day!
I agree Papa! It is built like it will last 50 years. Hits the small stuff easy...not sure what else a person could need!

I would use this for hard-rock mining a cave wall. Use the Gold Monster for placer mining open areas and creek beds.
@@thehuntergt but what about performance and deep?
Bravo John👍🇮🇹
what price.
Gostaria de saber porque o meu Gold finder não está discriminando , tudo pra ele é metal
where to buy?
I need the website
They no longer make this model.
Test in the park with this machine?
Probably not. It loves aluminum bits.
First review I've seen.
I am first.
Thanks for watching!
Where can I buy it please?
It is no longer made.
Its a detector for gold and we didnt see how deep the nuggets will beep
I don't live on a gold claim. Common sense.
Onde comprar?
John me from India it's really..???
