It can be daunting, and awkward, and downright scary. BUT, it doesn't have to be. "How to Life" is here with some tips on how to make new friends.

There's one important mistake in this video. Whenever you want to find new friends and enter a new environment everyone already has a friend or is part of a group and that is extremely intimidating
There's probably one other loner there too so prey on them 😂
I always play it cool when I get into a group like that...you don't know what their group mentality is or who is who. I just try to fit in some way and kind of agree with everything. I assume it's a group you have to be in...like a new school or new job? In a week or so you will get the lay of the land and begin to see who you mesh with. I usually find the people I first think are really cool...aren't...and the ones who kind of seem standoffish are more like me and just trying to give it time to figure ME out. I try to participate in things they are doing so I look like a friendly person...even if I am quiet. In a month or so you will start to get in the groove and the group will accept you and you can begin to form friendships.
Yeah it's like when you go to college, everyone have a group of friends from high school or from the same town except me, "the outsider".

On point !!!You may be asking yourself questions like, "What if they don't like me?" or "What if they make fun of me?" The truth is, we are all afraid of rejection. You are not alone in this. I remember transferring to a new school and not knowing where to begin. I had the same self-doubt. Then, one day, I pulled myself up and brushed all those doubts aside. We wrote a blog post on Myfriendshop blog covering your remarks.
The worst part about this is the small talk. Everytime I small talk it ends in like 2 seconds

I have friends and a bestfriend who ive known for a very long time, but the problem is that my bestfriend is extremely negative, doesn’t bring me really happiness and very selfish plus rude. I work from home full time and most of my closest friends have gotten married and moved away. Making new friends as an adult is one of the hardest things I've ever attempted to do. Not even exaggerating when I say that. I still haven't had any true success with this... I think I need to join more clubs?
Join more groups with the same hobby's.. like walking, swimming what you really like.. Than you have fun too.. and you can share. Have fun..
Ugh yes! When we no longer have school as a place to meet people, it can be difficult to find a group we really fit in with. But if you try finding meet up events for hobbies you enjoy, you'll definitely meet some cool new people!

Maybe there is a community volunteer group you can join. I am secretary for our county fair and also part of a group that organizes another big local festival. I've made a few incredibly close friends and lots of other to hang out with.

Well, here's the problem.. I totally fail at step 2 'cause I'm a chicken!!
Oy yes, we all feel that way. But, you just got to keep in mind that even if you strike out, it's not personal. You're just going to click better with some people than others. And once you find the people you click with, working past your nerves will have all been worth it.

Here's just what I follow: (Im person A)
A= "Hello!, How are you?"
B= "Good and you?"
A= "Glad to hear that"
A= "Do you like (insert thing you like)?"
If they say yes:
A= "Cool! Me too"
And start asking questions such as: how did you discovered it? Why do you like it? What's your favorite character? (If is a series)
If they say no:
A= "Ah It's okay! What things are you interested on?"
And find something you both have in common

I have taken admission in new school when I was in 7 th and there is so hard to survive cause all students had made groups already and they are not ready to get you involved in their group
And I found solution for it I talked to everyone nicely sometimes I used to give them small treats I involve in every sports and curriculum activities and I found some good mates
I mean to say just don't be deactive and dull in new places
And I'm in 12 th now

I have more than 100 friends but they're all fake
any advice 😕
Try cutting them all out. If anyone asks why or feels hurt, there's a good chance those who do may be more worth your time. Apologize and dedicate more time to them, see where it goes.
On the flipside, if you cut ties with those friends and none of them bat an eyelash or say anything, this can sometimes be better. If they aren't upset about seeing you less or even not at all, then you shouldn't be either. You just freed up your schedule to find people who will care about hearing from you!
As far as getting away from those friends, there isn't a need to be uncivil about the matter. Just take a break from seeing people, fill your time up with other responsibilities or hobbies that don't include them. See how long you can stretch it, take note of how they respond.
And my last tip? Don't make one of those "cutting out the fake people from my life," posts or carry on about it in such a manner. That draws negative attention, hurts your rep and will actually make outsiders unsympathetic with your case. Do it quietly. Discreetly. And respectfully. This gets you a better chance of finding friends to keep if none of the first 100 really stick.
And a question for you to think on before you go about this: what do you define as a friend? Is it someone you know their first name? Played a game with them before? Really question yourself on what you want and need out of friends, and more importantly what, if anything, you are doing to meet them halfway. Be yourself, but more importantly, consistently be yourself so that it is simple to get a grasp on who you are and what you like, again for the purposes of simplifying forming the right friendships.
Tl;dr, take a break from these friends and either keep the ones who want you back or work to find someone who you truly connect with

I have two best friends but we're going to different universities which sucks ☹. And about 50 fake friends who used to feed on my notes back in school in exchange for not hurting me.
@@haisesasaki3944 My high school best friends and I picked different colleges. when I tried to keep the friendship going but it turned into a one sided thing and so I eventually let go after it was going nowhere.
Delete social media. Go outside. Do something that is your hobby. Strike up a convo with someone that has great vibes. Keep in contact. Go somewhere else with the new friend! :)

I searched this up then played it whole on a zoom and blasted the volume. That's how not to get friends.
I had 3 best friends. The first one tried stealing my other friends from me and and constantly copied me, the second one left me for her popularity, the third one completely forgot about me and became best friends with my BFF that left me for her popularity and became bffs with somebody I was trying to become friends with. I do have other friends but we never talk anymore because of online schooling and all that. I feel so lost.
