This gave me flashbacks to me as an American 19 year old trying to confess to my college dorm neighbor that I had a crush on him. He was the same age as me and from Tokyo. I knew I would probably get rejected but I didn't care. I was okay with being rejected because I knew I had nothing to lose! Since I wasn't going to see him again I thought I should tell him my honest feelings. He agreed to meet me at a certain time because my flight back home to visit my dad was that night on my 20th birthday. I knocked on his door before I left and no response. I cried the whole way to the airport. When I was waiting for my flight it was midnight and I turned officially 20. That's when I got a half-assed apology message from him saying sorry for being late but he was in his dorm now. I messaged him back saying I already left campus and was at the airport and that I was very happy because it was my birthday. I didn't feel like telling him my honest feelings then anymore because to me as an American it showed he didn't care. So he wished me a happy birthday and lot's of success, and that was the last message I had from him. this was 6 years ago. I personally feel like even if two people come from different cultures, if a guy is interested in you, at least from my perspective as a girl, he will let you know. And this guy at the end showed me that he did not in fact like me lol. This video made me smile with the confessions haha I was literally yelling "Vamos!" too 😂
