Gifts for a King They entered the house and saw the child with his mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasure chests and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. -Matthew 2:11 Christmas is a time of giving, a time when we remember friends and family and give gifts in the name of Jesus. But sadly, many of us often feel pressure to spend a lot of money or buy gifts for people with whom we have no relationship at all. Then there are times when we receive gifts from people, yet we haven’t bought gifts for them. Thus, we sometimes give gifts out of obligation. On the other hand, we look forward to buying gifts for certain people. In fact, we often can’t wait to give our gifts to them because we want to see the joy they have in receiving them. Jesus said that “it is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35). And it truly is. The wise men from the East brought gifts to Jesus gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Now, what kind of gifts were these for a child? Myrrh is an embalming element. Why give an embalming element to a baby? The wise men, however, had an insight into who Jesus was. They gave Jesus gold because they recognized it was a proper gift for a king. They gave him frankincense, which is what the high priest used when he went into the temple to represent the people. And they gave Him myrrh because they recognized this king would die for the world. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. He is our High Priest. And of course, He is the One who died for all our sin. What can we give to God in this holiday season? What do we give to God, who has everything? Here is what God wants from you: He wants your life. The greatest gift that you can give Him this Christmas is yourself. And the greatest gift that you can give to God as you enter a new year of opportunities is to say, “Lord, I give You my life. I give You my talents. I give You my abilities, my weaknesses, my dreams, and my future. I offer myself to You.” That is what God wants from us. Therefore, let’s be like the wise men and worship Jesus and give to Him. We will be glad that we did, because we can never outgive God. Make time for Jesus. Make room for Christ. As the classic Christmas carol “Joy to the World” says, “Let every heart prepare Him room.” The same Jesus who was born in Bethlehem, died on the cross, and rose from the dead is alive right now. He is standing at the door of your heart and knocking. He says, “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends” (Revelation 3:20) Jesus is knocking at the door of your life. Are you going to open it, let Him in, and make room for Him?

The guy with the bleached hair was so funny, seems like a good guy to get along with and have a laugh. I feel bad about his situation with his ex. I can't imagine expecting my boyfriend to pay off my debt if it was that high like that. Even though he's broke, he seems to be in a better place now 😊😊

That kind of thing is pretty common in asia countries cmiiw. I happened to experienced that kind of trap once where my ex only dated me because she only want me to clear up her really bad and messy situation with her deranged ex. When i said to report it to the police, she just blatantly broke up with me and goes on to look for another men 😂😂
Honestly I dont think he is broke since he has alot of influencer friends and famous friends so he could have just been low on cash at that moment lol especially since japan is expensive if you work there cause ur salary wont be AS good

I hide a lot of unusual information on my phone. Top secret stuff. Don't worry, no nude photos in my vocabulary, so it's safe from any wandering eyes. It's interesting to see what other people have on their phones. Must be some things that are definitely worth giving attention to.
For me the most difficult challenge is no 1#. Ain't no way I'm gonna give a sudden to call to any of my family members and say I love you 💀 sometimes its sad to think why is it so difficult to openly show affection to my parents.. its sort of an unspoken taboo in Asian household.. on rare occasions where I actually showed my emotions towards them I would end up feeling shitty and internally cringe to death for the rest of the day. I wish I could be reborn and reprogram myself since young to be more emotionally open to my parents and family members
@@eatsburrito i think its mostly east asian household like this. I'm not from those ethnicities but my family do act like one😅 I envied my friends and relatives that are pretty close with their families. I'm not even close with my cousins eventho i have like 50 cousins from both parents lol..
I was raised that way too, but I don't care. I tell my family I love them as much as I can. My son sometimes gets sick of it. It might seem cringy and hard to do, almost impossible, but remember this: you don't get the years back. Time is precious. Speaking with actions is wonderful, but sometimes it's nice to hear it, especially when it's not the norm. Say it while you can.
@@OEAgent01 i know that. But i still can't do it lol. I rather hustle my whole life to earn money to buy them a house than saying those words out of the blue
It's not typical for Japanese people to express affection openly towards their friends or loved ones. In contrast, Filipinos from the Philippines are known for being affectionate towards their parents and friends. 🥰
13:10 "so your bank account doesn't end up like this guy" 😂😂😂

Gifts for a King
They entered the house and saw the child with his mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasure chests and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
-Matthew 2:11
Christmas is a time of giving, a time when we remember friends and family and give gifts in the name of Jesus.
If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends”
(Revelation 3:20)

I hide a lot of unusual information on my phone. Top secret stuff. Don't worry, no nude photos in my vocabulary, so it's safe from any wandering eyes. It's interesting to see what other people have on their phones. Must be some things that are definitely worth giving attention to.
what does that even mean?
@@9-7-LOL

Please please more of these videos!!!!
I think most asian household are this 😅In our family, we show it in simple actions or simply ask "Have you eaten yet?"
As a Finn, I can relate

It's not typical for Japanese people to express affection openly towards their friends or loved ones. In contrast, Filipinos from the Philippines are known for being affectionate towards their parents and friends. 🥰
The bleached hair guy is EVERYTHING period.
