- Joe Biden's helicopter entourage arrive in London ahead of his visit this weekend. His VH-3D Sea King "Marine One" helicopters were airlifted into RAF Northolt on two C-17 Globemaster transport aircraft. Chinooks of the US Army also arrived from Germany and will form part of the helicopter escort force where they will accompany the rest of the formation as they travel around the UK.

This pilot parks plane better then some people park their car
well yes, takes alot more to be a pilot than it does a car license
You can't park there sir!
Because it's more dangerous for a plane to park barely compared to a car
As well they should on their salary!
Lmfao
I'd never seen a plane give birth to a helicopter before today.
😂
And Biden's the dummy
Oh yes u are so hilarious
It’s got quite the naval cord

The way they just casually reverse it like a car 😂 cheers for the footage. My kids loved it 👌
😂
Surprised having a reverse gear for this plane 😅
@@raveenm2270 it's not a reverse gear, the engines have what is called "thrust reversers" which you can see how the engine shroud is shifted forwards and exposes that silver looking band, it essentially re-directs the flow of thrust forwards to push the aircraft backwards (usually only used on landings to help slow down the aircraft)
the wheels on planes aren't motorized, hope this makes it clearer for you 😀
backwards not forwards@@AdelphiaaWoW
I want to know if the pilots do "beep beep beep" in the cockpit while reversing
For those who have never visited the Airbase they are landing at, yes they do fly that low over residential areas and it is pretty impressive.
Couple of those gardens need work! 😀
ok thank you for saying that i thought it was cgi. because i was like you dont fly that low lol

@@thesoupdragon1all planes do when they are landing...........
It doesn't matter if the plane has dozens of reverse thrusters, you gotta have some masterful pilots to do the job. That was amazing. No help on pushback for that pilot.
To flip the throttle lever???
@@H.EL-Othemany are you a pilot?
The thrust reversers on every jet that has them can do what this jet did. There's a loadmaster in the back where the aft ramp is down on headset telling the pilot where to go.
Absolutely 🏆
Umkehrschub☝🏻
2:20 I have never seen an aircraft do a three-point turn before! That is just so cool!!
I reckon that manoeuvre cost about $10K USD as well....
If that jet can pull that off, what's the point of airport tugs to back jetliners onto the tarmac?
@@oriolesfan7807 It's prohibited.
@@oriolesfan7807lose to gates, other infrastructure and personnel. The reverse thrust can blow many things away, cause a lot of damage. This was right off the runway
@@oriolesfan7807 please keep in mind its a military aircraft designed to get into and out of situations that regular passenger jets don't find themselves in. reverse thrust uses alot of power ( fuel) and there's always the threat of debris . Using a tug is less costly and much more controlled . Having said that there were occasions in the past where some aircraft could reverse out , the MD80 comes to mind , but its not the norm
Very cool to see the precision adjustments being made to fly those Chinooks. Top of the line pilots right there.

Impressive 3 point turn. I've seen more people make a meal of a turn like that in a tiny car.
You have to admit, it’s nice when you can just drop everything at short notice and travel light for a little break
“Joe did you pack the helicopter?” “I thought you did.”
This is one of many reasons I would not be able to handle being the president. I wouldn’t ever want to go anywhere, because of the cost. It costs close to $200,000 per flight hour, just to operate Air Force 1. Just say 16 hours round trip in the air to London and back. $3.2 M just to get him there and back. Forget all this equipment that goes as well. Than all the personnel, like the secret service.

I am in the Manor and you can hear the aircraft from here too

The C 17 is so bulky it looks like it shouldn't be able to fly at all, especially at those low speeds! A very imposing machine. When you factor in the additional weight of the payload, it's even more surprising that it DOES fly.
We are living under crushing air pressure all the time, hence air is very dense. Makes more sense when looking at implosions from atmospheric pressure.
C17 really looks SO imposing. It's so chunky, massive and mean looking 😮
The power of aerodynamics my friend!
I was in the RAF in a place called Machrihanish in the early nineties. It was the European base of the US seal team six. When they needed fresh boats or vehicles they'd fly them over from the states in one of these. Of course all air force people are interested in aircraft and we'd wait until they had unloaded then pop over for a chat with the crew and a nosey about. They are absolutely enormous but consist mostly of empty space. I still have a photo of me and a mate kicking a football about inside one.
I can’t even reverse a Smart Car
What a spectacle of filming. Congratulations on the registration.
Obrigado 😀

Joe: Yes honey.
Jill: And the armoured car?
Joe: Pretty sure it's in one of these somewhere...

I,ve see loads of Globemasters arrive at Prestwick but I didn't know they could actually reverse.
I would love to see the carbon footprint of moving Joe Biden around. Better not tell Greta Thrungburger
exactly what i was thinking..ridiculous...and they lecture other countries
Carbon is good for life. Feeds the trees and foliage is needed. And is much lower still then all the existence of mankind. There's no Climate crisis it's just about money😜
The same footprint Donald Trump left behind. No difference in that point. The difference is that Trump doesn‘t care about the people
@@friedpuddycatgamer4682 Exactly! Where did the carbon come from initially before it was stored in coal and oil?
Same as plastic in the oceans. Plastic is made from oil, oil is from dead sea creatures, plastic is being returned to the sea. I call that recycling.
They're all in on it together I'd guarantee it
The Opulence of Government! 🤣
This really isn't very much. There are 45-51k flights per day in America and they don't look very different than this. They just carry people, their luggage, and freight moreso than helicopters.
People, as always, got consulted and agree to pay it all.
Genuine question - do the chinook rotors spin in opposite directions?

I didn't know Biden was in London.
But then again, neither did he.

The utter childishness of that remarks says more about you than Biden. You ought to be worried about your Donny. HE is the one showing big signs of dementia. Airports in Revolutionary War, Biden getting us into WWII, can’t pronounce basic words or remember them, walking off podiums in the middle of ceremonies, Secret Service having to push him back to the limo after he walked right by it, can’t figure out how to operate an umbrella, needing two hand to drink from a water bottle, confusing Haley and Pelosi, thinking he is better than God, thinking only he can’t be touched legally, being so totally in love with Putin that he will sell America out in a heartbeat. The man doesn’t have much room left for his confusion and lack of memory before he won’t be medically able to be president.

The Chinook Heli sounds rlly cool and never seen a plane give birth to a helicopter 😂😂😂😂
How often does a plane go by?
Those chinooks have been flying late at night the last 2 weeks, damn things are so loud 😭
I am surprised to see the rotor blades have been removed from the Sea King helicopters; I seem to recall that on some helicopters they could all be folded back over the tail for transport. Maybe not with a Sea King. Looks like the rotor blades are carried in the last cart. An odd spectacle by the way, that train of carts behind the helicopter being pushed... 😁
I didn’t notice until you mentioned it. Seems like it would be easier to fold the blades to the back like I’ve always seen. But, hey, I’m not a Marine chopper pilot.
