The President is attending the United Nations General Assembly this week. Also featured is First Lady Jill Biden's plane 'Executive 1' and others flying over.

Marine One today was a VH-3D Sea King operated by the US Marine Corps, Marine Helicopter Squadron One. This squadron is responsible for operating the presidential fleet of helicopters that are also used by the Vice President and other VIPs. The squadron also operate the MV-22 Osprey, of which several are seen in this video transporting security, staff and press.

It is hard for these moments to not take one's breath away. The logistics, planning, and resources to pull this off is overwhelming. The sheer muscle America can bring to a space is hard to wrap one's head around. The fact that the president limousine is literally a tank built on a HD truck architecture sends a powerful message. Those tires are massive and those doors must be on super hinges to support the weight.

Primitive ways to try to impress people. Banks , royalty and religions used the same methods to impress people many years ago. Very expensive for the American tax payer.
The cost of this single operation could feed a nation for a year.
The wasteful military budget of $880 BILLION/Year can feed the whole Africa's population for a decade.
Have you any idea what it takes to protect any president of any country... like Biden or not, he is the president(I do not like a lot of what he does.... nor Trump nor Obama... and so on. But the fact remains, it is done for all presidents of all major nations... the murder of a sitting president would cause so much chaos ...stock market, GDP, inflation, across the board. It would be awesome if there was no need for a military in any nation... but that is the stark reality..... the only real benefit, other then projection of the people, is the sheer number of jobs the production of military assets is staggering. Have you ever considered the cost of a cruise ship?...lol...Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas was the most expensive cruise ship worldwide as of November 2022. The ship cost around 1.43 billion U.S. dollars to build. What could be done with that money... and while it is the most expensive is $1.4 billion, The cost of a cruise ship varies depending on its size and complexity, but many break the $1 billion level, especially the latest mega-ships. The average cost of an ocean cruise ship sailing today is $496 million. In 2022 there were 323 cruise ships in the world. While 17 new cruise ships were launched that year, 18 were scrapped, so the total number of cruise ships fell by 1.

@@CobraEmergency maybe this is a stupid question, but how do you find the logistical info about the President’s landing spots, motorcade route, etc?
@@log2276 the simple answer is you don't
I remember when the first President Bush's helicopter landed on our high school football field in Houston. Multiple Secret service officers were there for a week ahead of time checking things out. There must have been 100 police cars all around our hs at the time he landed. He waved and got into a limo and left. He was on our football field for less than 3 minutes. That's when I realized how thorough the secret service really is, the only person who could get within 100 yards of him was our school photographer and they checked his camera at least 4 times.
I had the honor of working in the security details during three presidential visits, a vice presidential visit and a presidential candidate's election rally. (President Clinton (X2) (1996 and 1997), Vice President Gore (1997), President G.W. Bush (2002) and Presidential Candidate Sanders (2016), respectively.) Although I have my own political views on all of them (and my differences with all of them), I do look back at it as an honor. The Bernie Sanders rally was as a civilian LE officer and the former visits were as a USAF Security Forces member. Whether I supported any of them politically or not, the careful work that goes into making it safely happen made me proud to be part of it and proud to be an American service member and LEO. It's quite impressive to see it all first-hand, and to meet and talk to the Secret Service agents who do it full time. It really doesn't matter who the protectee is, it only matters that they be protected. I and the others involved in those details understood that and we were proud to have filled that role regardless of who the protectee was. The nation and its elected leader are far more important than just the individuals occupying that role, or the particular political party preference or views of those assigned to the protection detail.

Don't be quick excited! You must learn about the cycle of energy from Thermo dynamic-101 class. Don't forget about charging the car battery. Its charging energy is still from fossil fuel. Current producing wind and solar energy are still not enough for household and manufacturing uses.
@@VuongNguyen-cg6yo portable ICEs are not all that efficient as energy extractors. Best way to charge an EV is where it is parked during the day using solar.
Solar is more expensive wholesale than gas, but because it is solid state its easy to break even when you are paying retail rates on an individual level. All those middlemen and infrastructure add up and of course they are utilities - not non-profits.
Right now we are at the cusp where "lifestyle" or "special requirements" drive which is better for a specific person. Fossil fuels aren't getting cheaper while renewables are.
@redwolfexr - Solar charging rate from 100% household solar is very slow in compared with charging from local electric company and EV charging stations. Both electric sources of electric companies and EV charging stations are mostly produced from fossil fuel. Today, wind energy and solar energy are not produced enough to commercial and household uses.
@@VuongNguyen-cg6yo Solar is funny, if you need more power you just add panels. People who plan to charge an eV tend to build that into their dimensioning.
Solar is just at the point that for the consumer its cheaper than buying it from the utility. But its more expensive for the producers -- mainly because it has a large up-front cost. Once you have it built your costs are minimal.
Offgrid storage is cheaper now - to the point solar+battery is an automatic inclusion on RVs and anything remote.
You are trying to hold back the tide, my friend. Its no longer "too expensive" and storage is getting denser and cheaper. Especially at small (point-of-use) scaling.
@@redwolfexr Solar panels are made of rare metals that get wasted and put into landfill. Not to mention that battery storage and solar panels use lots of cobalt. And im not a big fan of human rights abuses. Nuclear is a better solution
Fancy having a job like the USA president! No way, can't even go into the back garden for a stroll to admire all the trees and flowers in bloom. I admire him, he has the most difficult job in the world. Somehow keeping the peace.
HHahahahaha
when I drive to work in the morning, it's nearly the same 😆
That Marine's walk toward the Chopper is the most gangster thing about the clip.

Amazing amazing stuff, always impressed by the sheer size and effort of american logistics, protection of the president or aircraft carriers are some examples, stuff like this are just too cool to watch. Wish you the best, keep'em coming!

Still amaze watching Osprey
Those Osprey helicopters are awesome, they remind me of the Veritibirds in Fallout 4.
The Irish prime minister arrived at the UN on an E scooter.
What a waste of resources for a guy who doesn't know where he is half the time!!
US have the coolest emergency vehicles
I' really like America and I love ❤ America 🇺🇸 America nice 👍
