My daughter is a great artist, love your mom's ideas with the drawers. You should watch Blue Bus Dave's videos. He buys and sells at flea market. You could have got alot more for the pottery and fencing from the clean out. He does major cleanouts and markets every weekend.

Barrels on guns can't be copper, they would eventually melt. Barrel might be bronze-a very hard metal (almost copper colored), and the carved tooling might be copper, because it is soft. Thought I'd throw it out there. You guys have an amazing talent for finding "stuff" where most would not. God bless!

When you look like a scrapper you get treated like a scrapper. It would be interesting to have someone check the store in a few days to see what she really thinks it's worth.

its a glider! I have one JUST like it.. get cushions at BIG LOTS! they fit! - use pool noodles on the bottom to protect your patio - seriously its how I have mine set up. tell your mom yes she can sand it and repaint ..

Respect for how hard you both work. Suggestion, when you get some time, think about how your business can secure and re-sell valuables that you come across for closer to market value. You work so hard to pick up a few cents worth of scrap, yet it seems you sometimes let dollars slip through your fingers. As you move forward with your business, you'll get it all figured out. Keep your heads up and take the time to improve your business systems to increase your profits. Best of luck.

This was a good clean out! We used to bid on clean outs by the square ft. We also winterized and did some minor repairs. Banks paid us every 4 to 5 weeks after the job was done, some banks it took up to 2 months. Do you bid on houses this way or only clean out what is left behind? Seen a lot of people lose everything and more doing this in the past. Everyone should be grateful for what they have, and focus what is important in life. Thanks for sharing
Yeah it takes over a month for payment we do only bank jobs so far a few other but would like to get into other types of clean outs. Thanks for commenting like to hear others experiences!
