    That hook and chain setup has character my friend! I like it, quick and dirty, and I like the nail adds a little story to it. Sheep wagon is looking period correct buddy!

    Have you see Dave Engels current build videos on a sheep wagon? He’s doing one that the owner wants to look old and weathered, and he found he can use iron filings in vinegar to age his metal repairs to match the old iron on the wagon, thought you might go the same route here to make the hook and staple match the chain.
    Good looking hook either way!

      Yes I've been following that build very closely, especially with working on my own! I thought about doing that but I didn't mind the look and it will age quickly once outside. Thanks!

    Nice! You could add a folding leg or a chain so the tail gate makes a table

      Thank you! I actually talked about doing the chain on another video just like the old chuck wagons had. Maybe I'll get to that after I get some other things wrapped up on it.
